Interview with Dharmin Rathod, the author of "Dark Love"

Greetings Sir..

Hope you are doing good. Let me begin the interview with the first question.

Can you tell us about yourself?

I am Dharmin Rathod 19 years old. Specifically I am a kind of person who wears smile, positivity, consistently working but when I talk about things what I do before writing I used to be and still I am professional athlete I am national player in Netball and Handball. I always like to learn new things, explore various arts like Music, Directing, and Singing etc. I always feel that when you trust the process more than results it can be fruitful.

When did you first start writing?

As I mentioned I was athlete I was never into this stuff but during 1st three months of school june, july and august for any athlete it is off season so during that period I used to take part in Elocution, Debates and Drama so writing my own speeches in Debates and Elocution. So one of my friend suggested me "why don't you write a book?" After few months I decided i'll try to write and while trying I just completed a first part of Dark Love. So this is the first time I have written something.

How do you feel when you write?

Writing releases the stress of emotions which you have within yourself and I enjoy writing a lot. I never get tired of making fictional stories what I would need is a bit of sunshine, Soda and Laptop. When you write you don't write words you express the emotions which you have kept within yourself and screaming you that let me get out from you.

Who are your favourite authors? Why?

I don't have many authors in my list but the books that I have read most are of John Green. "Paper Town" is one of my favorite. John Green writes the truth about teenage relationship and unpredictable endings. The way he gives importance to each and every character is at another level.

Tell us about your book sir.

Well my book is all about love and Vampire fantasy. My story begins with the very main character Astle Rose. When he was in his teenage he was missing love and the spark in his Life like we all miss in ours. His life got changed when he met the love of his life Rits. Rits was so much beautiful that Astle fell for her then. They both got into relationship how he gets into the relationship you must read all the chapters. When he was living golden phase of his life everything got changed when he moved into Rosegriffin, my imaginary town, where he met his lost cousins who were possessing supernatural power. Astle can be deadly creature if he becomes one. And he became one that's tricky you need to find out by your own. Then darkness arises he had to leave Rits, sacrifice his parents, kill the innocents without any reason and still his enemy lives with that enemy many mysteries and suspense are left to be revealed which will revealed in next part.

What is the purpose of writing this book?

The Purpose of writing a book is that I have a dream that one day I'll get a call from director that will purchase my copyrights and 1st vampire movie will be filmed in bollywood under my name. That is the purpose of writing.

Who has been your inspiration?

No inspiration I Guess. I write because I like to write. I write with the purpose that someday someone will read and say some good words. that's it you don't always need inspiration to be happy for yourself.

Have you come across any dark incidents in your life?

I have never met any dark incidents before it's just my imagination which helps me to create dark incidents I always like to feel positive and happy. I always stay away from negativity and Bad Vibes.

What were the struggles you faced while writing this book?

To be honest there was not even bit of struggle sometimes you work for yourself and when you are working for yourself you will never get tired, feel stress or you will find struggle because you are seeing a road a destiny beside that destiny everything look blur except destiny.

How should a story or a poem be, according to you?

According to me story or a poem should be simple, smooth going and happy because when you give time to read you want to be feel happy not sad I always try to make others laugh and happy.

What are your other hobbies?

My hobbies are pretty normal to go to gym, Watch movie alone, spending time with myself, living in my own song.

How was your publishing journey with blue rose publishers?

My publishing journey was very good never had troubles. Staff was great whenever I needed help I always get that.

When can we expect your next book? Can we know what is it about?

Next summer probably and it will be the 2nd part of Dark love.

Few words for upcoming authors is that now a days we trust on results rather than the process so we should trust process never stop writing if you want to finish it. Everything takes time just go with the process and you will see more than desired results.
