Hello Sir.. Hope you had a wonderful day.. I have to say your profile was really impressive and inspiring too.

Can you share about your experiences as a psychologist?

Well I have conducted over 10k+ sessions for people from various age groups however I never did it to make money as my main motive was to help people and help them live a peaceful life. Its a free service which I have been doing from past 6 years and have helped clients globally. However, there have been clients who have payed me but for students and others I normally don't charge a dime. I never talk or share much about it as privacy is a must for everyone. So I just do it from heart. As every person has a different story, time and effort we have to make for them is really hectic and I believe this is the most challenging job for anyone.

When did you start writing?

  Well I always say I am a pathetic writer , Good speaker and an extraordinary learner. However I started writing in 2010.  

What was the first thing you wrote?

  I stared writing initially in form of Poems and mini-fables way back when we were in the era of ORKUT many people took my writings and published it on their name. But i just love to write. There are a lot many and on every aspect of life. And I have written for those who have copied my works too.

This reminds me.. The story "Change the icons" in your book crosspaths, was it copied too? I've read that story in internet long back and it was circulated in whatsapp too.

Honestly its a true story. Its a story of one of my client who was suffering from guilt he was from Australia. However the versions that are now available online, I told you how its done.

What do like to say about your book "Crosspaths"?

In regards to this book I will just say one thing, stories I have made them part because examples always remains with our soul. Secondly, this is the most imperfect or you can say the worse written book ever in last decade the reason behind that is because it has been written exactly in the same condition in which i faced in 2014 & 2015. I had the option to edit or make it perfect in all aspects but i never write to impress i just wanted it to come out in the same way as it was written.

No no I'll never say it is a worse book.. this book is so inspiring and motivating. In fact i suggested this book to one of my friends after reading.

Can I know what kind of situation you faced in 2014 & 2015 sir?

I was suffering from paralysis attack and then a strange undiagnosed disease (till date) and doctors had given up but these people and their learnings helped me out and in that situation i wrote this book so that it can inspire at least few people.

How are you now?

I am perfect now.

Can you tell us more about it sir?

My target audience was the poor kids of NGO's who always use to say they are not good in English. So i wrote, I self published 100 copies and distributed it to them for free and that actually changed the scenario. They understood and they loved it and it also somehow helped them in developing their communication skills.

I have sent the copies to all the CM's and even to the PM that time and they all loved it. I was honored when Dr. kiran bedi and Mr Kher said they loved it, because i was honest in the book, i never tried to manipulate or to use hi-fi grammar etc.

If you have read the book in the end there is a chapter. I was suffering from Brain Fog when i wrote this book and i'm still recovering from it. Writing with Brain Fog is the most difficult thing. That's why i try speaking to people face to face

When i decided to publish in this way there were lots of people who said you will make a joke out of yourself because editing is important etc but i said at least with jumbling fumbling concept someone will learn

Honestly, I find this book different and unique in its own way

Who is your inspiration sir?

My biggest inspiration was my Nanaji in my life and Jim rohn and all my mentors in regards to writing.

Who is your favourite author?

In writing i like everyone who is behind the superb comics of my childhood Champak Nagraj Chacha chowdhary etc and yes ofcourse Gerry roberts and sidney sheldon.

Why is it you liked them, while there are numerous writers out there?

Because they never write to impress they write to entertain and help people achieve something good in life. In recent times i have been highly impressed with writings of Amanda J Evan and Sweta Nicky Parmar

So you are more of a poetic person or an author?

I never really thought about genres when writing. As for me, it's proper to say my output is an eclectic mix. I get so much enjoyment from writing about many diverse subjects. I love a good story and believe that a good story and great characters can exist in any genre. When it comes to writing I don't write for sake of it, I write about practical lessons of life I learn every day. Every person is a teacher and has a story it depends on us what we take out from that story. Every person has a huge volume of talent and experiences it's just we need to collect and present it to others.

The Best Thing about You Is You! by Anupam Kher

Do you prefer fiction or non fiction?

I like both. It's tough to choose one.

Haha. Right.. So, if you get a chance to live as a fictional character which one would you choose?

Have you written any other book previously?

Yes, Kiss Life, "Life is what you make it", "KARMA" , Feelings Undefined: The Charm of the Unsaid and Justhhjoo will be coming out soon. Kiss Life is not available nowdays as its out of stock.

Your advice to budding writers?

I will just say always write what you would love to read as an audience. And be natural don't write to impress but to express.

What do you wish to say to your readers?

"Date yourself. Take yourself out to eat. Don't share your popcorn at the movies with anyone. Stroll around an art museum alone. Fall in love with canvases. Fall in love with yourself."
