Interview with the author of "Escape into a new world of Science"

Can you tell us about yourself?

Ans: My name is Shiva Deb. I am an Electronics and Communication Engineer. I am basically a scientific researcher, I started my research at the age of 15 in some special topics of science and today after more than 11 years I have written the book "Escape into a New World of Science" which contains the details of my thoughts and research.

When did you first start writing?

Ans: If I remember correctly, I first started writing about some of my research at the age of 18.

Do you remember what you wrote first?

Ans: Yes, I wrote a small chapter about complex numbers and something about gravity.

Can you kindly share with us?

Ans: By that time, I discovered something wrong in one of the rules of multiplication and also found that this incorrectness led to the introduction of complex numbers. So, I wrote about that incorrectness and also explained that complex numbers actually do not exist, it is there because of a mistake. Further, I also discovered a mystery about gravity which no one else ever noticed, so I also wrote a few paragraphs about it then.

How did you get interested in writing?

Ans: Well, in the beginning I thought of writing all my research in a scientific paper, but then I thought that a scientific paper will take a long time to catch the attention of folks because it is confined within the boundary of scientific world only. Moreover, I wanted to share my thoughts and research to the common people and not to some specific individuals only.

Who are your favourite authors? Why?

Ans: Bruce Gernon is one of my favourite authors. He revealed a big mystery about the 'Bermuda Triangle' which he himself encountered inside the triangle in a famous book 'The Fog'. And being a scientific researcher I really liked the book.

Tell us about your book.

Ans: To build a new scientific world requires us to unlock some of the fundamental secrets of this universe. Our universe is even bigger than our imagination and to reveal secrets of such a gigantic universe requires intelligence, dedication, time and patience. I have written the book "Escape into a New World of Science" after 11 years of thoughts and research and therefore it reveals big secrets of this universe that were locked deep inside the heart of nature which scientists haven't noticed for centuries. Secrets of this universe cannot be explained with the help of a single subject and therefore this book is a combination of many subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology, astrology, psychology, parapsychology, paranormality, philosophy etc. Although, it seems difficult, but I have written the book in a very simple manner so that even readers not related to science stream can understand it easily.

What is the purpose of writing this book?

Ans: There are a lot of secrets of nature that I have found out during my research, I had to share all those to the masses. Therefore, I thought of writing a book to describe everything I knew and understood about nature and its mysteries.

Is this your debut book?

Ans: Yes, this is my debut book.

Who has been your inspiration?

Ans: Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam has been my inspiration.

What is your passion?

Ans: To understand the secrets of nature and use that knowledge for the development of mankind is really my passion.

How do you feel when you write?

Ans: Obviously there is a feeling of joy when an author writes a book. I also feel the same when I write something especially when it is something related to science.

What are your other hobbies?

Ans: Well, other than science, I love acting, music and travelling. My friends really enjoy my acting.

How was your publishing journey with blue rose publishers?

Few words you would like to say to your readers.

Ans: I will say to the readers that they must read and understand each and every paragraph of the book carefully and patiently. Since it is a scientific research book, therefore every paragraph of the book is somehow connected to the next one, so if they miss any paragraph it might be difficult to understand the whole thing.

Finally, few words of advice for the budding writers?

Ans: Success of any book depends on the content present inside. If the content is great then the book will soon become a bestseller. Not necessarily using very tough and complicated words or sentences a book becomes successful, a small book with simple but touching words can easily attract the minds of the readers making it praiseworthy.
