REVIEW:

"The Author (An Unquenched Thirst Of A Passionate Reader)" by Raj Siddhi, is a heart touching story of the protagonist, Samar. Samar, an orphan leads a content life with no expectations until he meets his love Sufi. His love though true begins with a lie and makes his heart cheerful. With the support of his closest friend Spring and his well wishers Kabir and Mother Mary, he reaches his goal. Just when the fruit becomes ripe an unexpected storm hits blowing away all his dreams shattering his life. What are his dreams? How does his love end? What is that unexpected storm? Does Samar get to fulfill Sufi's dreams? Does Samar quench his thirst of his eyes?

Blurb – Descriptive and apt. Briefs the story well.

Characterization – Each and every character's life, emotions are very well expressed and equal importance has been given to all the characters. Sufi's enthusiasm, Spring's support, Mother Mary & Mrs.David's love, Samar's pain and his struggles are intricately penned.

Narration & Writing Style – Simple and heart touching. The author's narration captures the attention of every reader. The beginning and the climax of the story is well penned with an unexpected twist at the end. The end really made my heart cry. At few places, I found the story monotous and in few places the emotions could have been brought out better. The beginning and the end are really exceptional. It is the best part of the story I loved. And the lovey dovey moments in Shimla too are close to my heart.

Title - Quite intriguing title perfect for the concept.

Cover – Simple and elegant that fits the story.

Errors – A few grammatical errors were found which can be overlooked in the flow of the story.

Positive – The story's theme and author's narration are the positive aspects of this book.

The author has done a very good job in bringing out this book.

OVERALL (4/5):

A heart touching story of an author which once was a lie, yet turned out to be a reality.
