REVIEW:

"Rich but still poor" by Shilpa Patel, is a wonderful story of the Protagonist Anupama, an energetic girl with strong will power. A girl who was having a fun time in her childhood, had to take up responsibilities and fulfill family's dreams due to the unexpected turn of events. Fallen into the trap of loveless marriage she suffers a lot. Yet she hopes that her life would change, without giving up.

Who is Anupama? what happens in her childhood? What are the troubles she faces? How does she overcome them? Does she get to follow her dreams? The answers lie in the pages of this book.

Characterization – Each and every character has been given equal importance and skillfully inscribed.

Narration & Writing Style – The author's writing style is user friendly and her narration is charming. The story is inked in a way that every emotion felt by the characters can be felt by the readers too. She has explicitly explained the problems a girl would face when married off to the wrong person. Anupama's character gives us the courage and inspiration to fight back and move on and follow your dreams inspite of all the hardships. Rajeev's character would make us despise him. The author has done a brilliant job in bringing out the story.

Errors – Few grammatical errors were found which when edited carefully could be corrected.

Positive – The story's theme and author's narration.

OVERALL (4/5):

An interesting story that will inspire and motivate you to move on inspite of the hardships. Recommended for all.
