REVIEW:

We get to meet many people in our lives, but only very few leave an imprint forever. It may be because of their good deeds or other actions or behaviour. Yet we still get to learn something from all. This book, "Random Portraits", a collection of 20 stories classified into four sections for the ease of the reader, is about people we meet in our day-to-day life.

Blurb – gives a brief insight into the book

Writing style – Simple and perceptible

Narration – Reader friendly. Scenarios are described well. The chapters are well-organised and the flow of the stories too is interesting. Readers can easily connect to the stories and the characters. The author has given the right mix of narration with beautiful and heart-warming stories and a few eye-opening ones, too. Personally, I loved every story in this book.

Characterisation – Every character is built in a well-organised way, giving importance to each and every emotion.

Title – Apt for the theme.

Cover – Simple sketch that suits the theme of the book. But the cover could have been designed a bit more attractively.

Errors – There weren't any noticeable errors.

OVERALL (3.5/5):

A well-penned collection of stories with beautiful narration. Recommended for all.
