Hello Kiran, hope you had a great day, how are you doing?

I'm doing great. What about you?

I'm good too

Tell us about yourself kiran.

I've appeared for B.E final year exam this month . I don't have the degree yet but I am just waiting for the results. I love music in fact I play the guitar for a band

Which band is it?

Pink Pentacles....it's an acoustic band

For how long have you playing guitar?

I think I started playing when I was in 9th standard but I stopped for a while and started playing again some years later

How come you got interested in writing?

To be honest, I never thought of becoming a writer but a pain made me write this one

Can i know when it happened?

4 years back

So I assume this story to be a fiction inspired from your life?

Yes yes exactly. The whole story line is fiction but I added some chapters related to my personal life.

Who is your favourite author?

Chegat bhagat cause my first novel I've read was 'Half Girlfriend '. In fact I even sent him an email about a short story I wrote.

Wow. What was his reply?

I didn't get any. I don't even know if he got it or not.

Ya that's something you need to think about

Yes but I understand that thousands of people like me are sending the same thing.

How was this publishing journey

I have to say that the whole journey is the combination of something I never hoped for you know. At some point I was like 'why did I choose to write? '. But the team at Blue rose publisher are very helpful. They answered my silly questions and everything. The whole journey is crazy I should say but in a good way

How supportive were your family?

They all are supportive but my eldest sister supports me the most.

Why did you choose to write this story?

One night I was in a lot of pain. And I know that the only way to get rid of the pain is to endure it....is to make the best of myself out of the pain. So I choose to write and share my story to the world.

Writing really soothes your pain

What are your views on love and relationship

Well I have a lot on this but I will just share a few lines.

When you meet someone, you need time to build up a relationship. But that is something very delicate. It might takes months or years to build up that relationship but it can break in any second at any time. To my opinion if want to have a strong relationship then PERSONAL SPACE is very important. And about love I want to say something from my experience. If you have true feelings for someone then wherever you are or whom you are with, then that feeling with not ever change. That is why people kept Saying true love never dies.

Do you write poems too?

No I write song lyrics sometimes.

What do you wish to say to your readers?

I want to say that....if you're living a life then you gotta have some pain..you gotta have a breaking point but that pain is not your enemy. That pain is not there to ruin your life. The pain is there is make the beauty of your life, it is there to make you perfect. So get the best of yourself out of the pain life shoots at you.

What advice do you wish to give to budding writers?

I want to say that we write to share our story, to share our pain. If we don't write then no one will ever know your story that needs to be told. Honestly speaking it is not something that you enjoy the whole time. You'll spend sleepless nights writing those thousands of words. But when you have your own book in your hands, you'll get the feeling of the best pair...smile and cry at the same time. So it's time to hear your stories.
