Tell me about yourself dear.

My name is kanishka and am in 11th class having humanities in rpvv dwarka 10 .Am the headgirl of my school. I love to write and read novels .

How did you develop interest in writing?

Writting was never cup of my tea . I used to skip literature classes and felt bored but when I had no friends when I was in 6th , then I used to go to library and read . I had read all the books in my library and I imagined myself as the protaganist of each book .I love fiction and fantasizing . In class ninth When I got first betrayal in friendship , I started writting and till now I write . When emotions need someone to listen and there is no one ,I write

Why did you choose humanities?

The love for literature was growing more day by day and The sense of being social was one another . After scoring 91.2 percent in 10th board exams , My father forced me to take science but intrest is where the life lies , so I took humanities

Who's your favorite author or poet?

My favourite author is roahld dahl , though he writes for kids but the way he imagines and potray his thoughts is just amazing

Which is your favorite character?

Miss honey from matilda .. The way she supports matilda in the whole story is really very impressive

Tell me about your book saudade dr.

Saudade has now become a part of mine. The book knows me about so well and reflects my inner thoughts transparently . It is aware about my ups and downs I have watched , the problems I had faced and the hope I have been craving for

How was your publishing journey?

When aman , my publishing consultant told that they really loved the way I write , I was on the cloud 9 . I was really happy to listen that a well known publishing house is going to publish my book within 2 months and they did it too well. The book design and illustrations are appreciated by everyone along with the readings . The journey would be incomplete without blue rose team . Special thanks to preeti goswami mam whose hardwork is the reason of my achievement

How supportive were your family?

When i told my father bout the book publishing he thought ThatvI was kidding but when i showed him the email , he didnt beleived at his eyes . Not without a second thought , he decided to make the book publish. It was my mother who adviced me to search for the publisher . I am greatful to them too

So this is your first book?

Yes it is my first book but not probably the last

I love to dance and travel

Actually no one . I have never been inspired by someone just one day I thought to write

What do you wish to say to your readers?

i wish they had connected with me and enjoyed reading . they will support me and had found a link with me .

A piece of advice for budding writers?

Just listen to your hearts and start writting and never stop learning from life
