AUTHOR INTERVIEW

Dinesh Kumar, a young aspiring writer, photographer is the author of the tamil poetic book "Kaathal Ulagam (காதல் உலகம்). Let's us know more about him in this interview.

Hello Dinesh,

Hope you had a lovely day.

Tell us about yourself, Dinesh.

I'm a mechanical engineer currently working in a leading car making company in Chennai for the last seven years. My native is Salem.

When did you start writing?

It was in the year 2015.

Is this your debut book?

No, I have published a book named "Iyarkaiyin manithanum (இயற்கையும் மனிதனும்)

Can you tell us abt your first book?

That book was written to create awareness on nature and it was also written based on my bike travel experiences.

How did you develop interest in writing?

My loneliness and my interest in fantasy led me to this field.

What are your other hobbies?

I love to go for long rides on my bike and love reading about ancient science. Apart from this wild life photography is one of my dreams.

Who is your favourite author?

Jayakandhan

Do you write stories too?

I'm more of a poetic person. I've written few articles though.

Say us about your book.

This book is a compilation of my dreams and I wish to dedicate this book to my future wife.

What is your opinion on love?

Love is the basic need of life. Love will help you lead a happy life.

How supportive were your family when you told about your idea of publishing?

They were so supportive. In fact they gave feedbacks for each line in my book. They always told me to follow what I love and supported me all the way. They never forced me in doing anything which I had no interest in.

What do you wish to say to your readers?

Do what you love and keep people around you happy. Your life will be beautiful.

Why do you think readers should buy your book?

Everyone would love their better half so much and few would find it difficult to express how much they mean to them. So my book would help them in expressing their love and their dreams.
