Akshay Prakash, is an young and aspiring writer and the author of "Iceman-the king oh Himalaya". Let us see what Akshay has got to say about himself.

Hello Akshay, hope you had a good day...

To begin with can you tell us about yourself?

I'm Akshay prakash and I completed my education last year as a mechanical engineer. Now I am working in a company at Bengaluru.

When did you first start writing?

I think it was when I was in 8th standard. I wrote so many poems and short stories in Kannada.

Do you remember what you wrote first?

A poem about rainbow in Kannada.

Can u share few lines from that?

"Mugila mareyali ninda cheluveye nenyare

Nina nodalu manau taniudu nenyare

Suryasprshadi kangolisuve nenyare

Saptabanagala sobaga uluve nenyare

Kanadrustiyali tumbi holeyuve nenyare

-Kamanabillu"

In this poem I have compared a girl to a rainbow.

How did you get the interest in writing?

I got interest about writing from my mother. When I was a child she everyday told me all the stories of Hindu purana to make me sleep. That time I wouldn't sleep. Instead of that I used to imagine that characters in my mind that helped me to enhance my imagination skill.

Who are your favourite authors?

I didn't read any books yet except text books. In the poetry field I read poems of Kuvempu , because I want to develop my own style of writing. I know I made lots of mistakes in the book but I will definitely improve that style in my next edition and in my next book

Tell us about "Ice man"

Ice man is my first super power character. I felt the story is good but I also felt some shortness in the story. I will definitely correct that in my next edition . I wrote this story in just 6days.

What inspired you to write about super power? About ice man?

I am a movie addict and I am a fan of Stan lee. His moves inspired me to create my own super heroes.

How do you feel when you write?

Firstly I felt happy . I started asking myself about the story creation like what should I need to put in the next scene and I started discussing about the story in my mind.

What are your other hobbies?

Playing cricket, watching movies (all releasing Movies in Kannada, selected ones in other languages) watching videos about the life of ancient Indians like chalukya , Aryabhatta and also the videos related to Hindu purana. Because I feel ancient Indians are more talented than us and I feel, that helps me to write new stories

Which super power do you like to have?

Humanity

Humanity? How do you call that a super power?

I feel every human is granted with a super power called humanity.

What do you wish to say to your readers?

I wish to say imagine every character and every scene of the story and create your own formats in your mind ,like a movie. That will definitely take you to the different world and help you to create your own stories.

How supportive were your family?

They always support me to do anything good.

How was your publishing journey?

Is good . The Publishars are well responding and they have guided me in each step.

What do you like to say about blue rose publishers?

They are the ladders that help us climb up by giving the good support to authors Dream.

Where can readers find your other writings?

I am planning to start write my next book named Agni (part of the sun) and sound of life ( the humanity never dies) in next month and I want to upload my poems in the Facebook page. I wish to continue with the Bluerose Publishers only.

Finally, few words of advice for the upcoming writers?

I am not in the position to advice others. But I will express my feelings that is be creative, don't take back your steps until you reach your goal and try again, try again until you get what you want.
