Interview with Mukteshwar Prasad Sinha the author of "Management by Trust"

Greetings Sir..

Hope you are doing good.

Can you tell us about yourself

I am retired from Steel Industries having served 45 years in India and abroad and last of 13 years was at level of CEO/Managing Director in both Public and Private Sectors.

When did you first starting writing?

Aug.'2018

What is your passion sir?

Reading and watching Economic news and providing consultancy to multi-national companies to keep myself updated on management style and steel industries.

What are your other hobbies?

Practicing Yoga and doing exercise for 2.5 hours daily, without fail, everyday early morning to keep myself physically and mentally fit

Tell us about your book Sir?

This book depicts actual stories of a turnaround manager, believing and practicing Management by Trust, who has achieved success after success stories in his long and rewarding career of 45 years ,out of which 13 years were as MD/CEO of Public and Private sectors industries. Each of the eleven chapters is a case study in itself and narrates problems faced and solved successfully, when MBA courses are studying two three cases. Every chapter has a ' take away' message which is very helpful. This book will be an asset to Management Students, Junior Managers, Middle level managers and even Seniors to mold their performance by learning from actual experience and not theoretical. Since the book is about ones journey, in a career, nothing is fictitious and every bit is highly relevant.

What is the purpose of writing this book?

As Manager M practiced a technique which gave him success at each place irrespective the location, configuration of industries ,private or public sectors it has become proven technique without a doubt, which he wanted to share with all managers and management students and faculty, so that they derive benefits.

What or Who was your inspiration behind this book?

My feeling that instead of keeping with me art of succeeding with myself, why not share with others and if they get benefited, I will feel more happy. Further While getting book of my late Son Anshudhar's book Honest Expression published, it inspired me to pen down my experiences as well.

Yes

Are there any other book you are working on?

I am planning a book on very comparative work culture of different industries but will depend on success of this book.

What were the struggles you faced during the journey of this book?

Not much as got hold of good publisher like Blue Rose and consultant like Aman

How was your publishing journey with blue rose publishers?

Sweet and Sour

What is success in your point of view?

If the book is read by those readers who are entering management field or already working but failing in their managerial function and they learn and manage successfully, I will treat this as success.

What do you wish to share from your life experience sir?

Dedicated and disciplined life can certainly bring success. One must trust a person fully as there is no half trust. It can be nil or full.

Having knowledge of good English and translating the same in writing a book is courageous stand and readers should learn from it

Finally, few words of advice for the budding writers?

I myself is a budding writer. Having started publishing my son's book,it encouraged me to write a book and I wrote on my Managerial Experience and is published by Blue Rose
