REVIEW:

Dark Love by Dharmin Rathod, is a story about a young lad Astle, who happens to be an introvert and an athlete who grows up in his uncle's home. Astle who isn't aware of his true origin leads an ordinary life of a human. The story is about how he grows up; spends his treasured moments in school with his friends; he gets interested in vampires and how he finds the love of his life. One has to read the book to know what happens to him when he moves to a different place for his further studies.

Writing Style – Modest and perceptible.

Narration – Lucid yet monotonous. The author could have brought out the descriptions in a more fascinating manner. The element of suspence and curiosity was missing. The narration seemed to be short and rushed. The concept and imagination of the author is exceptionally well but he should work more on the narration part to make the story a captivating one. More detailing during the history and the war part and the changes that happens could have been given.

Characterization – All characters were well developed. But more detailing about them can be given and the emotions of the other characters apart from the protagonist can be given.

Title – The title seems to fit the story well.

Cover – Apt for the book.

Blurb – The motive of writing this book has been mentioned. I suggest the author to give a brief insight to the story too from the next part of his book.

Errors – There were many errors found. In many places proper vowels were missing. The choices of words could have been made better. I suggest a re-editing for this book.

Suggestions – The author can try to write his next part in a third person's point of view. More description of the scenarios can be given. And the choice of words can be concentrated more.

OVERALL (3/5):

Interesting concept but the author should concentrate more on the narration part.
