Interview with Alex the author of "Foolhardy"

Greetings Sir..

Hope you are doing good. Let me begin the interview.

Can you tell us about yourself? I am working personnel based out of Pune. Happily married to my lovely wife Aavshyika and father to my little princess Reanna. Spending time with my family is my passion and I wouldn't miss it for anything. I love movies and sports and spend lot of time at home watching them. If you'd ask me a couple of years ago, writing was one thing that I would have never considered investing my time in. It's strange but, I have never read any book in my life and so, writing this book in one of my life's greatest achievement. This wouldn't have been possible without the support and the motivation my family gave me and I look forward to writing another one.

When did you first start writing? 2016. Infact this book is my first attempt in writing.

Do you remember what you wrote first? Although, writing this book was the first thing that I started, I have also written few poems for my friends on few special occasions.

If yes, can you kindly share with us? May be later...

How did you get interested in writing? Don't know, just happened. People say I have a good sense of humor and imagination, maybe that's what inspired me. I started to write about the things that took place in my life and then gradually I was pulled into the world of thoughts and imaginations and, so I went on.

Who are your favorite authors? Why? Like I mentioned, I never read any book in my life, but I have seen movies based on novels.

Tell us about your book. What happens when life of a common, working class person, suddenly experiences multiple shocking events and surprises. How he deals with them and emerges as a winner. It's young man's journey from his first job towards something that almost ended his life. How he comes across many new surprising and shocking events and still comes out on the top. It's a battle for survival and a will to bring justice.

What is the purpose of writing this book? To explore my creative side and maybe something to remember by when I am gone.

Who has been your inspiration? My Family and my belief in God

What were the struggles you faced during the journey of this book? Allotting time to think and to write was the biggest challenge. I was still pursuing masters when I started writing and taking time out from the studies was extremely difficult. I remember, on weekends I stayed up till four and sometimes five in the morning, just to write. Usually, I don't stay up.

Is this a fiction or inspired from real life? It's a fiction, however few events correlate with the things that occurred in my real life

How do you feel when you write? Super excited. I feel like I am in a different world and all my imagination has come alive.

What are your other hobbies? Sports, movies and driving. Like I mentioned earlier, these are the few things that are the part of this book.

How supportive were your family? Extremely supportive. I would say my wife was my motivation to keep going.

How was your publishing journey with blue rose publishers? It was Excellent. This is my first time and the help and guidance that they gave me was extremely helpful. Turnaround time was good too.

When can we expect your next book? Soon. May be a year or two

Few words you would like to say to your readers. Believe in what you do, giving up is never an option.

Finally, few words of advice for the budding writers? Doesn't matter how bad you think you write, continue writing. We all learn from our mistakes.
