Interview with Devi Prasad, the author of "Financing Education in South Asia"

Hope you are doing good. Let me begin the interview with the first question.

Can you tell us about yourself?

I am Devi Prasad Prasai, an economist partly teaches in the Kathmandu University and partly engaged with the education and health financing.

When did you first start writing?

I have started first writing since 1992.

Do you remember what you wrote first?

It was a book on health planning and management.

Can you kindly share with us?

I have hard copy only no electronic copy.

How did you get the interest in writing?

Professional work, research and study.

Who are your favourite authors? Why?

Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan book it is written in a logical order.

Tell us about your book, sir.

My recent book is a text book targeted to the M Ed and M Phil student. It is an Education Finance in South Asia. Mostly covers the contemporary issues of the education finance of South Asia

What is the purpose of writing this book?

To upgrade knowledge enhance skills of students on education finance. In addition, it helps teachers and other researcher in shaping the research work.
