The Cover

I like the cover and the name of the book. The fact that the cover suits the narrative, makes it ten times better. I feel when a reader reads a book and noticed the relationship between the cover and the book. The story will feel more appreciated.

The blurb

A perfectly written blurb! It's short, straightforward, and leaves you intrigued/ interested enough to know more, it's too tempting not to click the 'read' button! So a point goes to you!

The intro of the book

I read the first few sentences of your book and I was instantly hooked, like a drug addict on crack! - (excuse my lack of professionalism)

I like the way you slip in little bits of information about the characters as you tell the story instead of dump-loading all the data about the character before the story even begins. (I've had my fair share of reading books like that)

Insight of chapter one:

The protagonist is going on a trip with their somewhat toxic friends but everything doesn't seem to be going as planned.

You have a way of drilling people in with your narrating, and that's a good trait- scratch that- that's a gift that you have been given b by the God of authors.

The plot: the storyline

Chapters 2-3: we are already off to an intense start. The storyline has already taken a huge height, while spontaneously getting a better in-depth of the characters.

In chapters 4-5: as expected the trip isn't going as planned. They were supposed to be in a hotel room napping like a kid, but instead, they were getting kidnapped. ( please excuse my dad jokes)

Overall

A dark romance and a psychological thriller book, which left me laughing at some scenes that shouldn't be found funny. And I feel horrible for doing that!

I think that's the point, you make the situation less dark by writing scenes the characters say or do for the readers- then it goes back to being dark. It gives me major mixed feelings- impressive.

Honestly, so far I've enjoyed the first 5 chapters of your book, you have an entertaining style of writing, and I feel so bad for the protagonist's unfortunate childhood life.  Even their kidnappers pitied the protagonist. Which says a lot. ToT
