Tell it to the Bees is Historical Fiction, a book set in post war England. The main character is ten year old Charlie, who is becoming uncomfortably aware of the tension between his parents Robert and Lydia, and as a comfort begins to visit the house of local doctor Jean Markham, helping her with her hives of bees, who he whispers secrets to. A friendship is struck between Lydia and Jean, and it isn't long until it becomes apparent that their friendship holds something far deeper.

I can't even format a proper review? I adored this book. Even after I had finished it I kept opening it to reread some of the bits that had touched me the most. It's such an emotional, lovely story and I really feel that it's a must read for anyone interested in lesbian romance.

I rate it a solid 5/5, and think that maybe Katherina_Michels would be interested in this book.
