Annie is the creepiest, most sinister villains of the Stephen King universe who is not some type of supernatural force.  In some spots of the book it got boring because Misery takes place in Annie's house most the whole book and the main characters are only her and Sheldon.  It's very interesting to watch their relationship grow through the book.  Misery is another dark, crazy good read from Stephen King.
