All The Bright Places
Author: Jennifer Niven
Genre: Romance/Mental Health
Summary: Theodore Finch is fascinated by death. Every day he thinks of ways he might kill himself, but every day he also searches for—and manages to find—something to keep him here, and alive, and awake.
Violet Markey lives for the future, counting the days until graduation, when she can escape her small Indiana town and her aching grief in the wake of her sister's recent death.
When Finch and Violet meet on the ledge of the bell tower at school—six stories above the ground— it's unclear who saves whom. Soon it's only with Violet that Finch can be himself. And it's only with Finch that Violet can forget to count away the days and start living them. But as Violet's world grows, Finch's begins to shrink. . . .

•MY REVIEW•
•Category 1- cover & description•
I like that the cover has images on it that represent the two main characters. The summary is pretty good.
5/5
•Category 2- word choice, punctuation, grammar, spelling, sentence & paragraph structure•
Everything is great in this category. I just wish the word choice wasn't so limited.
19/20
•Category 3- plot, setting, background/stories, characters•
These characters are imperfect and relatable. Their back stories are real and somewhat tragic.
30/30
•Category 4- writing style & pace of the story•
Jennifer's writing style is very short and sweet. She's not very descriptive with certain things. The pace of the story was pretty good, it was a little choppy near the end.
13/15
•Category 5- details & descriptions•
Like I said in category four, the author wasn't very big on descriptions and details.
14/20
•Category 6- originality & overall creativity•
The story is extremely original and creative. It's definitely a must read.
