Sucessfully introduces the main character's successfully with a snippet of information about them so that the reader can understand what the book is going to be like. However there isn't much more information apart from a very basic description of the plot and could be improved by adding more details.
● Chapter 1: 10/10
This book is off to a great start with an amazing set of description and catching words that grab attention of readers. I find this chapter well written in a poetic and striking way to catch the readers attention. It is very detailed and has a lot of figurative language to lure the reader's. I find it all so engaging already and yet it's only just begun. The writer makes one of the main characters address the audience so that the reader's feel part of story. It has drama and suspense as the first chapter starts with then ending of the book to make the readers wonder how the character's got in the position they are in.
● Chapter 2: 10/10
Again, an amazing start to the chapter which contains very enticing words. Something I've noticed is the polar opposites with the delicate and sophisticated language used by the writer compared to the blunt and crude language the character uses, this makes the reader feel like the character is actually her own person. The writer has also given the main character very bold personality which helps her to be likeable. I am finding it easy to picture what is happening within the chapters with the description given.
● Chapter 3: 10/10
The chapter starts with an intellectual piece of writing and then the writer writes from another point of view giving us readers fresh perspective on the story. Giving the characters flaws makes them realistic which the writer has done very well on. They also give detailed backgrounds to characters which builds up the story well and thoroughly and readers can gets to know the characters on a personal level. Humour can be seen in this chapter which is great because the writer can use it to attract a bigger amount of readers.
● Chapter 4: 10/10
The writer's use of rhetorical questions makes the story more personal to every reader as it makes them feel like the text is aimed at them. The flaws that Jacob is given by the writer makes the reader's empathise and sympathise with his situation as well as Anna's. I found this chapter very affectionate and endearing, getting to know the character's and the feelings that they have for each other. The use of metaphors and similies and personification help create amazing and vivid images in my mind of what's happening.
● Chapter 5: 10/10
In my opinion this writer is certainly talented. The chapter reveals the secret to why Anna's so cold and the way she is and it relieves writer's of the mystery. This Chapter is certainly dramatic and it keeps me wanting to read on and find out what happens between Jacob and Anna.
● Overall opinion and rating out of 10: 10/10
I love how each chapter shows a deeper meaning to the concept of society and our behaviour as humans. It makes the reader's ponder about the subjects the writer brings up and is very helpful to understand the deeper meaning behind the words in the story. There is so much description within these chapters, it paints a clear picture in my head as to what is happening in the story. The flaws the character's are given just makes the story more realistic and I love that.
