Review:

Pretty Baby is a story about Heidi, a good samartitan who lives with her daughter Zoe and her husband Chris. On her way to work one morning she sees a young teenage girl with a baby, standing in the train station trying to take shelter. She stops and watches her, debating what she can do to help her. After seeing her a number of times in the same place when travelling to work, she can't help stop herself from going over and offering her help. Zoe is outraged that she has to share her home, and more importantly her clothes with Willow. As for Chris, he watches Willow with a careful eye, believing there is more than what the eye can see.

The story switches point of view between Heidi, Chris and Willow, which enables the reader to be able to get an insight of each characters thoughts and background. Each character is different and have their own secrets which in turn are found out. My favourite character was Willow, I found myself excited when it came to her chapters, to find out more and more of her hidden truths. As I was reading I was trying to predict why certain events had happened, or who was involved in events, however none of it turned out the way I had guessed, the plot twists are very cleverly done. As I got closer and closer to the ending I felt my jaw dropping as I scanned across the pages, it is definitely a page turner!

I really enjoyed reading Pretty Baby, I found it a very intriguing and hooking book. If you like fast pace mysterious stories, Pretty Baby is a book for you.
