ill try to do a detailed (ish) summary without writing any spoilers: basically richie moves into the neibolt house & eddie is a ghost and he haunts it. stan and georgie used to "haunt" it too but if you read it you'll see what happened to them. richie is the only person who can see eddie. eddie doesn't remember anything from his past, so richie heads out to try to learn about how eddie died so he can tell him, but once richie learns, he thinks it would be best if eddie didn't know... eddie gets taken by something dangerous & it's richie's job to try to save him. then years later, richie is met with a surprise.

i cried like 4 times from different emotions

it is such a good book and the writing is absolutely amazing and there's many cute moments and it's also incredibly intense & suspenseful !! i pictured everything in my head perfectly and there were some parts where id legit get chills bc i actually got scared. this book is amazing 10/10 i love is so fucking much and i wish there was a sequel (i actually don't know if there is or not but im gonna go check when im done with this)
