Chapter Two

Third person

Percy fought against all one hundred monsters (no, he hadn't been exaggerating in the last chapter).

Both the monsters and Percy fought with the intention to kill.

Percy fought with all his might, anger blazing in his eyes, his face serious as he fought.

The monsters soon realized their mistake of trying to fight him when half of them were dead within seconds.

Percy fought all fifty of the remaining ones at once. Some of the monsters tried to run away, but they never got past the border of trees around the clearing.

Within just a few more seconds, Percy was alone in an empty clearing, the grass on the ground no longer visible because of the monster dust covering it up.

He used the water in the air to quickly clean it up.

Then Percy capped Riptide, and calmly walked out of the forest.

But before he left, he saw the person watching from the shadows.

(A/N Who is the person? Find out in the next chapter. . .)
