" You're not too late." " AHHH!" Kate screamed and started to shake. " W-what was that?"Kate asked and finally looked around the room and saw that there was a balcony and when opened it Kate saw the sun shining and said " Well it's time to leave." Kate closed the balcony doors and went to change. " Goodbye little town and big house." Once Kate stepped out of the door she felt really sleepy and passed out but when Kate woke up she saw that she was back in the bedroom. " Was I dreaming?" Kate thought and got up and started to leave again but again she passed out and woke up in bed again. " What is happening?" Kate asked and that's when she looked at herself and saw that she wasn't in the pj's but in her actual clothes. " I'm not dreaming but..." That's when Kate got scared and ran to the balcony and saw it was a long way down. " Jumping out of the balcony is out of the question but maybe!" Kate was looking left and right and saw some villagers and started to shout. " HELP I CAN'T GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE!" The villagers looked at Kate and they looked like they saw a ghost and got scared and ran away. " What the hell?!" Kate yelled and she closed the door thinking " Is this my forever home?! But I don't like it here and I want to explore the world more!" But Kate knew one thing...it was all Penny's fault. " She was the one who gave me the key to this house." " Hey new girl!" Before Kate could think of anything she heard a voice calling her but it was a voice she knew very well and went to the balcony and saw her. " Hey new girl you like the house?" Penny asked and Kate started to yell. " I wanted a place to stay for the night! NOT MY WHOLE LIFE!" Penny rolled her eyes and said " Look I just did my job and sorry that I wasn't a hotel but hey there's nothing I can do so bye." Penny walked off while Kate kept yelling at her. " Stop walking and help me!" Penny didn't listen and Kate went back inside and started to explore the house. " Maybe there is something in this chest." Kate opened the chest that was in the bedroom and saw a whole lot of junk but there was one thing that got Kate's attention. It was a journal and Kate picked it up and wiped away the dust and saw the title. " Dear Diary by Elizabeth Norway?" Kate opened the diary and saw the first entry and started to read it out loud. " Dear Diary, I just moved into my new house and this guy named Garry Windmill told me to stay away from the house I just moved in to saying it's a curse but I thought it was a joke and laughed it off. Date 5/15/1998." Kate didn't know that someone lived here before and said " Well someone lived in this house for 6 years and Elizabeth should have taken Garry's words to heart. Kate walked out of the bedroom and saw there was another set of stairs and said " So this place has a third floor...good to know." Kate went downstairs and sat near the fireplace and started to read the diary again. " Dear Diary, Something is wrong. I can't leave this house because every time I walk out the door I just wake up in my bed like I was dreaming. I try to escape out the balcony but I can't...I wished I listen to Garry about this house being cursed. Date 5/17/1998." " Ya I thought so." Kate said looking at the door and she felt hungry and checked the fridge if there was any food and she was happy to find there was food. " After eating Kate opened the door again and saw it was night time again and closed the door and picked up the diary. " It's time to go to bed." Kate said once she got changed but as she fell asleep she kept the diary near her.
