I'm updating because it's cloudy/going to rain where I am-- never mind, we're on tornado watch...

You guys are gonna hate me.

ALSO! Possibly going to make a sequel?

☀️

When Adrien walked onto the school grounds that day, he knew everything was different. People were freaked out that he and Chloe had gone to school together; not even with her not clinging onto him, just talking about his father's next move and the possibilities of what he plans to do with the next line.

Another thing that had everyone on edge was that Chloe wasn't being mean; there was no bullying, no teasing and cackling, and even Sabrina was confused as she followed behind her like a puppy.

This was Chloe we're talking about.

Before entering through the doors, Adrien chanced a look at the sky. Not a cloud in sight and only the sun shining brightly.

He looked away and headed inside where Chloe and Sabrina waited for him, along with Nino who was giving them weird looks but said nothing.

Marinette and Alya came out from the column that they hid behind, Marinette clutching a black umbrella in her hands, planning to put it in her locker. Chloe glanced back, meeting her eyes, and they stared at each other for a few seconds but Chloe just turned away without saying anything.

Marinette bit her lip.

🌤

Around the second class, a few clouds finally appeared, and Adrien could barely pay attention to his lessons, finding himself leaning his cheek to his palm and watching the clouds as they gathered.

⛅️

Marinette pursed her lips, there was definitely more clouds than earlier.

🌥

It was lunch break, but Marinette didn't feel like eating, so Alya forced her to nibble on a croissant and drink some water.

It only made her stomach queasy.

☁️

Clouds now covered the sky, but they didn't seem heavy enough to rain.

Adrien and Nino talked about what happened between he and Chloe, and Nino was really surprised by what he heard.

🌦

The clouds separated, revealing the sun once again, but even with the rays of light shining through, it drizzled, watering the earth for only a few moments.

The rain stopped.

☁️

The clouds were back.

☁️

It's the last class and it hadn't started raining yet.

Adrien's foot was bouncing, and there was no denying he a nervous wreck. He only wondered if Ladybug felt the same.

☁️

Surprisingly enough, to her and definitely to Alya, Marinette was calm. Umbrella leaning by her desk, there was no risk since she didn't have this class with Adrien, and she knew even if it wasn't raining at that exact moment, that it would soon.

Maybe it would start just when she would need it.

🌧

Adrien walked to the entrance, holding his hand out to feel how much rain their was.

Nathalie had sent him a message telling that there was an accident and they were stuck in the traffic, so the ride would be late. It was perfect, really, it gave him more time.

It was a relief sort of, and a little soothing, that the rain had started moments before he headed down to the entrance. He tilted his head back to watch the rain, not caring that he was getting wet with the droplets hitting him.

Black came into his vision suddenly,  just as the droplets stopped hitting, he heard a familiar voice from behind him.

"I believe this is your umbrella."
