"What do you mean you can't find out?!" Chloe hissed, livid at Sabrina's lack of information on this 'Ladybug' girl who has gained the attention, and apparently affection, of Adrien. "I can't have this girl continue sabotaging mine and my Adrikins future!"
"Um, Chloe? There are a few people th-that might be her...?" Sabrina tried to ease her 'best friends' anger, though it only did little.
She spun around, "Who?!"
"Well...so far, th-the only people it could be is...uh, Rose, Alix, Alya, and Marinette."
"Marinette Dupain-Cheng?" She scoffed, "Cross her off the list. No way that's possible, she doesn't have the guts. We'll start with Rose."
"Okay!"
Oh, how wrong she was.

Adrien sighed, bummed from not getting a letter that day, but yet he still searched for those blue-bell eyes. He still hasn't responded to that letter, trying to think of a way to reply to her without saying the wrong thing. It also got him thinking. Why does he want to know who she is?
He rested his chin on his palm, smiling to himself. Oh yes, he knew the answer to that. He's known for a while the reason behind his pursuit to find out her identity.

My Dearest Ladybug,
How cruel, for you not to realize why I want to know who you are.
From the moment I read your first letter, I was like a curious cat, I wanted to know why you were different.
But I liked that you were different.
You accept me for who I am, not as my father's son, not a famous model, but as a human being. You love me for me, and that's something I haven't been given since my mother died.
I want to know who you are so that I can do the same. But first, I want to remember everything about the day when you fell in love with me, I want to remember so I can go up to you, and tell you the reason why.
I'll tell you right now, but it'll have more meaning once I say it to you.
I love you.
Sincerely,
Adrien

Marinette couldn't believe her eyes, tears brimming on the edges. She was running the shop again, that day was rather slow, but she had yet to receive a reply from Adrien.
Coincidentally, Alya and Nino walked it, smiling and Nino holding a letter. She took it gratefully, thanking them once again for helping her this whole time, gifted them with some free croissants and they made their way out to leave Marinette to work (and read the letter since no one was on the shop).
(Marinette had a sneaking suspicion that they were going to get together at some point from how close they've gotten since the whole 'Letters to Adrien' started.)
She wiped her tears, smiling, but they wouldn't stop. She texted her parents and asked if she could close the bakery early because she wasn't feeling well. Her father replied immediately, saying that it was fine and her mother saying to get some rest.
She put the letter back in the envelope and set it under the counter, then she started cleaning the counter, and sweeping the floor. The ringing of the bell of the door alarmed her, but the realized it was someone coming in. Shoot, she forgot to turn the sign.
"Welcome! Sorry, I'll be right with you," she said, no looking at them and going to put the brook up.
"Sorry, did I come at a bad time?" The voice behind her made her heart stop before speeding up, she whipped around, eyes wide. The iridescent, green eyes she adored blinked at her, surprised, "Marinette?"
"A-A-Adrien?!"
