Just to clear something up, in this story, they don't have their Miraculous'. This is a complete modern AU where they're just normal high school students (or should I keep them as middle school students?), sorry!!

I hope you like this chapter! ;)

Dearest Adrien,

I'm sorry, but your puns are paw-ful.

...

I just wrote that subconsciously, look what you're doing to me. Let's just move away from the puns now...

I never would have believed I would ever be someone special to you, seeing as you don't even know who I am.

My heart is beating so fast, just knowing that I had an impact on you. It's hard to believe. But then again, I never thought that you would be the love of my life at first.

And then that rainy day happened.

Wanna know something shocking?

I used to not like you, in fact, whenever I saw you, I would turn away in a huff of anger.

Of course, I hadn't recognized you as the son of the person I look up to until my friend told me. But that fact hadn't changed anything, I still disliked you.

It was a misunderstanding though! I found out that you were actually very caring...and that it was your first time in a public school...and you didn't have any friends...

I'm sorry, there are tear stains on this now.

Thinking back, I was so rude to you, and now I'm in love with you.

The son of my idol.

My classmate.

A fellow student.

A man who makes horrible cat puns.

A man who doesn't remember the day he met me.

I have fallen madly in love with you, Adrien Agreste, and I don't think I will ever fall out of it.

Love,

Ladybug

There were, in fact, dried up tear stains on the paper, wrinkling it slightly, and it made his stomach churn that his sweet Ladybug had cried.

His heart clenched at the words in this letter, it seemed she had confessed to not liking him at first (which actually hugged him a bit, but at the same time he felt relieved because she had treated him as just another human being and not just his father's son and a famous model).

Wait.

Rainy day...a girl who didn't like him...why did that seem familiar?

Wide, unbelievably blue eyes stared at him as he smiled gently, holding out his umbrella for her.

That's it!

He remembered!

...

Well, sort of.

All he had to go off of was blue eyes.

Sparkling, unbelievably blue eyes.
