Chapter Nine - Anger
Master thought back to the days when a certain young wretched boy did not exist. Life was good back then. Life was predictable. People feared him, beasts respected him and there were no interruptions.
He was in his throne room and glared at the beast before his feet that trembled with fear.
'Say it again,' spat Master. The beast whimpered and bowed so low to the ground that his long snout touched the floor.
'I nearly had them Master. I had the girl trapped and the boy on the ground defenceless. It was the hippogriff Sir. It came out of nowhere,' cried the beast in fear. Master slammed his staff hard down on the ground.
'That is not good enough!' screamed Master with fury. The beast cowered and tightly hid its tail between its legs.
Master stepped backwards and sat on his throne. He closed his eyes and thought for a moment. He could not let that girl go back to her world. She was an author. An author could be useful.
'Please Sir, there's something more,' begged the beast. Master opened his eyes and looked down at the pathetic hopeful beast. He had forgotten it was there. 'I learnt her name,' the beast added, 'I know her name. Sonia Georgina Jane Green.'
Recognicition shined in Master's eyes. No, it could not be.
'Georgina Jane, are you positive?' The beast vigoursly shook his head up and down.
'Yes, Sir! Yes!'
Master slumped in his chair and smiled to himself. Oh, he could not wait to meet Miss Georgina Jane.
