Picture, it! 

A door is in front of you ... but it's not just any door that you will want to ignore, but one that you must open. It's an inclination that the inanimate object was calling your name.   

"Come forward, my child! I will not harm you," it says.  And as curiosity lingered in your mind, you just had to turn that door knob.

And to where will it lead too? No one knows ... but the question that remains is ... will you accept the dare?

The Door by Shaun Allan is a short story that enters the unknown. His main character Steven takes a chance to see what is beyond that door in front of him that has only appeared there recently. And what he finds ahead is quite unexpected, as he enters a hotel that he claims he hasn't been in before.

May it be the future that awaits him or something that he might regret forever; he is still bound to do his duty. It is a story where Steven must learn more about himself and learns that once he went through that portal, there wasn't any way he could go back to the beginning. He had to follow the voice; that other person who will become his future self.

Synopsis - according to the author:
The story is based on the hotel he stayed in entitled 'One King West Hotel' in Toronto, Canada. He was visiting Wattpad HQ and the walk that his Main character, Steven, took in to get inside sparked this creation!
