Looking for stories on Wattpad can sometimes be overwhelming. It can sometimes feel like you've read it all before. While I was on the quest for a new story I came across "C-Suite" and it drew my attention instantly, from the beautiful cover to the interesting summary. It was certainly a plot line I had never read before.

For starters, the main character is a woman of color in a position of power, a refreshing and much needed point of view. As the story unfolds we see the main character, Nyla, face very real challenges head on. Running a company, falling in love, reconnecting with her estranged family.

C-Suite explores every aspect of Nyla's life, in a refreshingly honest and raw way. The struggles of being in the workplace as a woman are an almost universal experience for women but combined with the obstacle of race, it brings a whole new perspective.

"Nyla Malhotra was just promoted to CEO of one of the fastest growing companies in America. Now, it's do or die as she navigates the ruthless business world where she not only faces a contentious Board of Directors but also plenty of backstabbing along the way."

An adult fiction story with just the right amount of romance, corporate sabotage and humor. this story is intriguing and keeps your roped in throughout. The writing style is simple, yet engaging, definitely a must-read.
