Okay I know I said I was off of my "hiatus" yet I haven't been active and blah blah blah and I'm sorry but then at the same time it's cool cuz no one cares anyways

Anywho I've got some news

I GOT ACCEPTED INTO WASHINGTON STATE AHHHH

Okay I know it isn't the hardest school to get into and given that I've been raised under higher standards I should have had a 4.0 average applying to Duke or something, yet I'm still proud of this. This was my #1 choice and even if a generous amount of people are admitted, it made me nervous as hell because there was that small chance that I'd get rejected.

I'm also excited because I think it's important to celebrate your victories, no matter how big or small. Given that this is a huge step in my life and a step towards realizing my dream, I lost it when I got the email. I can't wait until the end of summer so I can go to Washington and see the amazing campus that I only saw online. I want to see their football stadium and basketball stadium and classrooms and dorms and EVERYTHING.

On top of that, SNOW. After not having seen snow for almost 8 years in person, I'll finally be able to relive my childhood by being around snow again. It also rains a lot so no more of those dry days in the warmer months (except when I visit CA over the summer).

As you can tell, I'm really excited to just pack my bags and head to Pullman. But, since college is literally a few months away, that means I also have to cherish the time I have here at home, where my dad is, where my aunts and uncles and cousins are. Once I leave, I won't contact them much since I'll be settling into the college life and potentially getting a lot of homework. On top of that if basketball works out like I expect it to, I'll be spending most of my week going to practices, lifting weights, going to games. This is a D1 school so sports are no joke. I guess you could say I'm a small guy with big dreams lol.

Anyways that's all I have to say. I hope you guys have been well and for those college bound people, update me on your journey to college. What schools have you applied to? Have you committed to any? What's the campus like?
