Adder's Tongue
One of the few herbs specifically used to remove gossip and slander. This herb can also help repair relationships and heal all sorts of situations. Although it also has a dark side and has been called the Serpent's Tongue and is commonly associated with snakes.

Agrimony
It can create powerful protection spells and can reverse spells of all kinds (can reverse a spell cast against you). It can also be used to create a powerful sleep sachet for peace and protection in dreams, working kind of like a dream catcher.

Alder
Found in protection spells and divination rituals. It can bolster conjuration techniques and make communication with the other side more likely. It can be used in weather magick and is considered sacred to druids. There is a druid tale of carving an Alder wood whistle in order to conjure up the wind.

Alfalfa
Found in wealth, money, and prosperity spells. Found in financial magick of all sorts and is used in empathy work (any spellwork that is done for other people out of good-will).

All Spice
It can be used in healing spells, money spells, luck spells, and promotes confidence and ambition. It helps strengthen charms.

Almond
Powerful herb of wisdom, intelligence, and ambition. Used to create money and wealth energy, as well as to strengthen a business. It can be used to attract abundance and growth.

Aloe
Commonly found in protection and luck spells. Promotes peace and prosperity within a home and can be grown in pots to improve the safety of a home.

Amber
Produces powerful prosperity energy. It can be used in meditation to produce clarity and literally transmute negative energy into positive energies.

Anemone
Commonly found in healing spells and talisman. Also found in protection spells.

Angelica
One of the strongest Wiccan herbs for protection. Produces powerful healing spells. Angelica is strong enough to remove hexes, curses, and all types of negative energy. It can protect a home or a person when sprinkled under the bed or around the home. Can unbind and undo spells. Also used in exorcisms.

Anise
Added to sleep sachets, dream catchers, and pillows to remove and prevent negative dreams or nightmares. It can dispel bad energy and evil spirits. Used to battle demons. It can improve meditation and relaxation. Commonly found in protection spells.

Apple
All types of apple possess powerful spiritual and magickal properties which are frequently used to create abundance, fertility, and power. In fact, apple cider is powerful enough to be a substitute for blood or wine. Apples hold traditional and ceremonial worth in Samhain to honor the dead and those who will meet rebirth in spring. Apples are also considered the food of the Gods.

Arnica
One of the most powerful healing herbs for physical injuries which can be treated by salve. It can be applied to any inflammation or muscular-type of pain for mythical ailment relief.

Bachelor Buttons
Found in some love spells, talisman, and charms. Used to generate attraction in existing relationships.

Basil
One of the more common ingredients in witchcraft (probably because of its regular availability in most kitchens), Basil can be used to promote good luck, protection, and financial success within a home. It is also used within some love potions, love spells, and in some protection spells. Basil is an ingredient used in exorcisms as well.

Bay Leaf
Another common ingredient in modern witchcraft, Bay Leaf creates powerful protection and financial success energy. Bay Leaf has many wealth and prosperity-creating properties and thus is found in a variety of money, lottery, gambling, and luck spells. However, it is also found in a variety of protection spells, including as an anti-repercussion additive in black magick spells. Bay Leaf is traditionally carried in a sachet protection charm to prevent magickal attacks by spells, witches, demons, or other spiritual entities.

Bayberry
Used to generate financial success, good luck, fortune, and relaxation. Commonly found in healing spells, as well as stress relief rituals.

Beeswax
A common candle ingredient. Beeswax bolsters the spiritual value of a candle, creating a natural power and protective finish. Also used to polish wands and create powerful herbal salves.

Belladonna*
Although Belladonna is frequently misused, it does hold a lot of spiritual properties of great magickal value, especially in spell casting. Very commonly used in astral projection, vision seeking, and divination rituals. Also found in some protection spells. Belladonna has a dark side and is found in a lot of black magick spells, hexes, and curses. Which makes sense, as Belladonna is a poisonous herb. Thus, NEVER CONSUME BELLADONNA (people have DIED consuming Belladonna). It may even be dangerous to handle some of these herbs (which can absorb through skin contact).

Benzoin
Benzoin is made to purify, cleanse, and protect an individual. It is also used to create powerful success in one's life, and for clarity, relaxation, and inner peace. Benzoin is a resin and is typically used as an incense or as a binder for incense. As an added benefit, Benzoin smells great!

Bergamot
Commonly used to create charms and talisman for money, wealth, prosperity, and financial success. Also used to remove outside influences and third parties from interfering in a career workplace or relationship. Also used in financial and success-oriented spell casting.

Black Pepper
Very frequently used to banish third parties from relationships (used as a charm or in a spell). Black pepper has anti-evil properties and is found in protection spells, and is an exorcism ingredient.

Buckeye
Very powerful divination herb. It can create powerful visions that see into the future. Also used for the lottery, luck, gambling, and the attraction of money and wealth. Cactus

Carnation
A powerful symbol of love and used in many Wicca love spells and rituals. Also used in healing spells and protection spells.

Cashew
One of the most powerful ingredients for Wicca money spells, charms, and talisman.

Catnip
Found in love and attraction spells. Also used to create protection and good luck charms.

Cedar
Will promote confidence, courage, strength, and energy. It can be used for purification and cleansing spells.

Chamomile
A strong love spell ingredient. It can promote relaxation and stress relief and is thus very frequently found in meditation rituals. Promotes peaceful sleep and lucid dreaming. Also used to brew a strong Wicca love spell tea.

Cherry Bark
Cherry bark or cherry wood is a common lust spell ingredient. It is one of the most powerful sex magick ingredients and is also used in fertility spells. It can be used to promote divination and spirit walking visions.

Chili Pepper
Promotes passion, love, and attraction within a relationship. It can be used to spark romance in the bedroom. Commonly found in faith and fertility spells. Can get rid of third parties in banishment spells.

Chrysanthemum

Cinnamon

Comfrey
Found in a variety of spells that promote financial stability and safety while traveling.

Common Acorn
The Acorn is used to create a variety of charms and talisman, especially for good luck or protection. It is also commonly associated with wisdom and can help one unlock their psychic powers. Very commonly found on a talisman necklace, totem, or a wand, especially in Druid magick.

Copal
Burned as incense in Wicca magick to promote clarity in spell casting and increased success in divination, conjuration, astral projection, seances, and contacting the dead. Also used for the consecration of tools and ritual ingredients, as well as in exorcisms.

Cypress
Hung in a home, and used within a magic circle to promote protection from evil spirits and negative energy. Frequently used to battle the backfire of black magick. It can be used to help ease grief and improve relaxation. It helps with stress reduction.

Daffodil
Usually placed on the altar or in the home to ward away negativity and negative energy. It produces positive energy that fosters love, happiness, fertility, and luck in a home.

Daisy
Commonly found in Wiccan spells of love and lust. Daisies used to create luck charms, fertility charms and can be used to promote the safety and health of a newborn baby. Daisies also produce powerful attraction energy that brings romance.

Dandelion Leaf
Frequently used to conjure and invoke spirits of all kinds. Found in healing and protection spells. It can be used to undo a curse or hex.

Dandelion Root
Strengthens divination and conjuration. It can help make contacting the dead more successful. Also found in sleep sachets and dream pillows to promote positive dreams, and sometimes associated with lucid dreaming spells.

Dragon's Blood
Extremely strong protection and potency herb. This herb can ward off a lot of bad energy, evil spirits, and demons alike. It is also used to draw massive power to a ritual, making a spell drastically stronger, thus is a powerful and super effective spell catalyst. Dragon's Blood is also an exorcism herb.

Echinacea
Creates power to be used in charms and talisman. Also used to bless amulets and other spell ingredients. It can be used to dress candles to increase power in candle magick. Also used as an offering to spirits for protection in conjuration and seances.

Epsom Salt
This is the salt that is found in moth bath salt ritual recipes. It will help reduce the smoke in a cauldron during brewing.

Eucalyptus
Great for protection and healing spells. Produces strong magickal properties of protection and cleansing. It can be used to purify or cleanse an aura or casting place. It can also cleanse a home or haunted residence.

Fennel Seed
Found in a lot of protection and healing spells. It can be used to make powerful purification potions and charms.

Fern Leaf
Can dispel evil, remove negativity, and bolster mental clarity. Found in many cleansing rituals and often used to cleanse an alter, casting space, or magic circle (before and after a ritual or spell has been cast).

Foxglove
Commonly grown near home to promote protection. Also used to contact the dead or spirits in conjuration and divination magick.

Gardenia
One of the strongest herbs for peace, serenity, and harmony. Produces strong magickal properties that bolstering spells and can produce spiritual relief for those who are suffering.

Garlic
Strengthens conjuration and invocation spells. Used in cleansing, purification, and protection spell, as well as to ward off negative energy and evil spirits. It can also be used to remove jealousy from a relationship, or jealousy of others.

Ginger
Will produce energy of strength and power for any spell. It can be used to create protection and health charms by itself.

Ginseng
Ginseng is a powerful herb for Wiccan love spells. It is also very regularly used in beauty and lust spells. It also creates relaxation and peace in meditation.

Goldenseal
A strongly versatile herb in Wiccan spell casting. Goldenseal can be found in healing spells, money rituals, and success spells alike. It is also used to increase the overall power of a spell, ritual, potion, talisman or charm.

Gum Arabic
