I lay under a shady tree

Sea breeze sway

Leavey branches

Letting sun tickle

Bare arms and sleepy face

Bee buzz as far off dog barks

Bird song joins

All backing tracks on the summer wind

Feel this need to write a poem

But nothing profound fills lazy 🧠

Next door plays radio

Eyes open

Plane flys over...

..Peace now over

Close eyes and wonder

Why nature flys us forward

Shadows across eyelids flutter

Nature

The pilot of our life's plane

Auto pilot forever 

On
