03. Nao and Yū meet their child (Charlotte)

A/N: This has a bit of Mirai Nikki (Future Diary) in it.

Nao's POV

I was stood in a park. Emerald green grass covered the ground and oak wood benches and trees spread out throughout the park. Along with cobblestone paths.

A couple of hours ago Yū came knocking on my door saying he was taking me somewhere. So I got ready and he transported us somewhere. I didn't even know he could transport until just then.

"Where are we?" I asked, turning to Yū.

"We're in a different world. There's something here I want you to see." He stated, his maroon eyes glittering with excitement in the sunlight.

'A different world...' I thought to myself.

Yū dragged me to the other side of the park then asked me to sit down and close my eyes. I obeyed, abet hesitantly, and closed my eyes.

It felt like I was waiting forever until he came back and told me I could open my eyes.

When I opened my eyes I was met with a boy stood next to Yū. He looked familiar but at the same time I didn't know him. It's like his face didn't belong to him, but at the same time it did.

"I'm Aru. Akise Aru" he told me, holding his hand out.

"Tomori" I stated attempting to shake his hand, but he helped me up off the bench instead.

"Do I know you? You look kinda familiar." I questioned.

I still couldn't think, or remember, who he was.

"That's what I thought when I first met him too." Yū mentioned, with a knowing look.

He's hiding something. I just can't figure it out.

"Apparently, I am your child. Or rather, what your child would look like if you had one." Akise confirmed, as if it was nothing.

I looked him over once again. Not believing a word, until I noticed.

He had Yū's eyes and my hair. He also had a smug look in his eyes, with feigned innocence covering the rest of his face. Just like Yū's when we first met.

'I guess it is possible, that he would be in existence in a different world.' I calculated in my mind.

"I see" I stated. Keeping my cool about how amazing this was.

"Could I take a picture of us?" I asked Akise.

I wanted to remember this in case Yū and I ever had kids. I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks at the thought of me and Yū having kids.

"You don't seem very excited about this" Yū stated, a hint of annoyance in his voice.

I would let that comment slide, this once, for his sake.

"Well it's not like he's our actual child. So this whole thing is kinda pointless" I stated, factually.

'What am I saying, this is amazing!' I mentally cursed at myself.

"Well I thought it would be kind of nice to show you this!" Yū started to raise his voice.

I let it slide once.

No more.

Once again, my mouth and mind got the better of me.

"Well it may be, but it's pointless!" I yelled at him.

"Can't you just show a little gratitude!" he yelled back.

'That's it!' I mentally yelled.

Slap!

"This whole thing is pointless! Why do we need to know what our child would look like, now? We aren't even married yet!" I screamed back at him, catching a glimpse of him holding his face as I stomped in the other direction.

Akise followed me.

"I know the whole thing is pointless, but he thought it would be romantic." Akise stated.

His rose red eyes showing no emotion, but his pale lips held an amused smile.

I huffed and continued walking. Akise followed me, not saying a word. And for that I was thankful.

At the end of the day I had gotten my picture of Akise. And lots of other pictures of a fair we ended up going to.

Then Yū bought me dinner to apologize to me, even though it may have been my fault for slapping him across the face.

Yū and I were currently walking in the same park as this morning, hand in hand. The stars were glittering above, along with the full moon, and the lampposts were lighting up the cobblestone pathways that we were walking on.

Akise had gone a little while ago, something about 'detective work'. I thought he would be going home to get ready for school, right about now.

Speaking of school...

"Yū, I think we should go back now." I stated.

"Sure." He replied, squeezing my hand.

"Today was nice" I told him

"Really?" he asked, eyes starting to glisten.

"Yeah" I answered, as I was pulled into a passionate kiss.

'Best date ever' I mused to myself.

Even though I'd never tell him that.

Okay, so who else thinks that Akise is exactly what Nao and Yū's child would look like!?!

Also, my non-existent social life just ended today. I have exams coming up in like one month, so all I will be doing is school, revision and Wattpad.

When I told my teacher this, she laughed in my face and said "Why not school revision food and sleep?".

To which I replied "Wattpad is more important than food and sleep".

Byee, and remember Loyalty. Honesty. Generosity. Laughter and Kindness don't grow on trees!
