Okay so in Thailand foreigners are called falong. I have no idea if that is actually how you spell the word because it's Thai so it's a different language with different characters and- ANYWAY! Back to the point. Now I forgot to write this a while ago because this actual story happened during the first like week of my trip. But it's here now so if I could stop rambling then you would hear it.

Me my sister and my dad were all on a mo-ped, not a motorcycle a actual mo-ped. (Again no idea how to spell, Im stupid apparently)

Anyway, since there are no laws against having 20 people on one mo-ped thingy at a time my dad thought, 'Hey! Kids we should all ride on a mo-ped thingy down to the store and around the neighborhood type place that it connected to a small highway!' (That's not actually what he though, obviously but he did ask if me and my sis wanted to take a ride with him) anyway.

So on this ride my hat flew off and hit my dad in the head that cause us to screech to a halt and the back of the bike went about 2 inches off the ground. My sister yelled and hugged me tighter so I could barely breath.

So my dad turned the bike around and we started going back to get my hat in the middle of the highway type thing. And there was a car coming so we had to make it quick.

I had this whole scenario playing in my head, 'dad would drive  over to the hat and I would grab it last second like a total boss and we would get out of the way of the car, no casualties.' Uhhhh...... Not exactly what happened. Dad drove up to the hat and I tried to grab it but my arms are to short so I was like a foot away from the dang thing. And o couldn't bend down any farther because 1- my sisters arm was in the way and 2- I would fall off.

So the car that was headed strait for us swerved around us. And me and my sister swear we heard the dude yell from inside the car...

"DAMN FALONG!!!"

So that is a ever lasting joke through out our family. Every Time we get confused or we do something stupid and a Thai person is watching, we yell "Damn falong." It's funny shut up. Oh also there "Falong kino." Which means 'foreigner bird sh!t'. We rarely ever use hat one though.
