SPOILERS FOR ALL OF THE WEDNESDAY SHOW ON NETFLIX

(This is referring to Season 1, since that is all that is out  at the moment. Netflix has not confirmed a Season 2, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did.)

So I watched the Wednesday show. I really liked it, but I needed a fandom space to discuss the sinking of my ship because I finished the show like 15 minutes ago and I am still processing episodes 6-8. Believe it or not, I was actually invested in Wednesday and Tyler's relationship. While I'm convinced that Wednesday was fully on board, they definitely had a friendship. I personally think of Wednesday being like aroace or somewhere on the ace spectrum, Tyler was the only person I could realistically see her getting with and me being okay with that. And I was. ...until the reveal hit. Then I thought, "Okay... If it's one of those things where he didn't have any control and he didn't mean to, then can still work out." Things did not work out. I drew the line at Wednesday's torture sequence and abandoned ship. The police station scene ended all possibility of me enjoying them even interacting together. And now I just feel dumb that I didn't have the foresight to predict that me shipping a heterosexual pairing would not end well.

Now I'm lending towards aroace Wednesday or being a Wenclair enjoyer. I don't really have opinions on any other ships involving Wednesday.
