The shoreline,

Calls me closers,

Beckons me to take,

Step after step,

It's quite dark now,

Way past sunset,

But as I step in the water,

It's warm and inviting,

I walk father.

Hypnotized,

The water is up to my shoulders,

I want to stop,

To turn around,

But I can't,

I walk deeper.

This seems to be the end,

The water closes over my face,

The seconds tick by,

The water,

Turns ice cold,

My eyes shoot open,

I need to get out of the water,

I swim up,

But never break the surface,

I try to stick my arm out of the water,

Its hits a clear film,

Hard as glass,

My arm breaks,

I can't get out,

I'm running out of oxygen,

Or maybe I already have,

Everything goes black,

My lungs fill with water,

I fall deep into the ocean,

Drowning.
