Vast vacuum
I find it funny how,
We're all on this one planet,
Where we revolve around the Sun,
And the Moon revolves around us,
Constantly in this orbit state,
As we all realise,
We depend on each other to live,
We depend on the Sun for light,
But also the Moon in the night,
And isn't it funny,
How the stars are dotted so freely,
Across this black sheet we call space?
To us,
It's nothing more than a vast vacuum,
But to the stars,
The planets,
The meteors that race on,
The galaxies,
It's a place to call home,
And isn't it strange?
How we believe we're alone,
When billions of galaxies,
So freely roam,
Without our knowledge?
The stars in our night sky,
Are mothering other solar systems,
As our Sun mothers us.
