I've already made clear my fresh start,
But it didn't quite go to plan.
I'm ready for the change of heart,
I'll do whatever I can.
To see that I'm fully happy,
With the decisions I have made.
These new beginnings won't be shabby,
But I'm going to need some aid.
Because moving forward is easily seen, But so is a step backwards.
And it's best to leave the past clean,
Rather than trampled over.
Instead, I stride towards the future,
Where everything is unknown.
It's a giant, scary leap,
But it's a place to call home.
Because you can't change the past,
So don't sit there and mope.
However, make your future vast,
And fill it full of hope.
