-Kayla's POV- 

Hi! I'm Kayla. I work at Achievement Hunter with my boyfriend Gavin Free. He recently has been acting weird. He has been hanging out a lot with my best friends Meg Turney and Ashley Jenkins. When ever I try to ask them whats going on they just say I don't know what your talking about, so now I'm going to ask Burnie Burns, Ashley's boyfriend and my boss.

"Hey Burnie." I said walking into his office.

"Hey Kayla wants up?" He said.

"Has Ashley told you why Gav has been spending so much with her and Meg, mostly Meg." 

"Yeah shes told me."

"Whats going on?" 

"It's a secret."

"Please Burnie just tell me." I gave him the puppy eyes that Gavin can't say no to hoping that it would work on him as well.

"Sorry Kayla. As much as I love fucking with Gavin this isn't something that I can tell." 

"Tumbler will go crazy if they heard that." 

"Shut the fuck up." 

I stuck out my tongue and walked away back to the Achievement Hunter office. Geoff and Gavin are talking about something but immediately stop when I walk in. Great more secrets... I walk back out before either can say anything. I hate it that Gavin is keeping secrets from me. Whats worse is I have to go home with him. He and I bought a house together last year, we have been dating for about three years. It will be three years on Monday.

"Kayla! There you are I have been looking for you!." Gus said. I'm just walking around the office not doing much. 

"You found me." 

"Can you be on the Podcast Monday? It would be Burnie, Ashley, Gavin, and you." 

I would have rather gone out to do something with Gavin but it seems he forgot since he already agreed to be on it. "Sure, I'd love too." 

"Good. You will be on the couch in next to Gavin but you will have the iPad and the ear piece in charge of the Ad reads because I don't trust anyone else."

"I don't think I would trust Burnie or Gavin either, but I think Ashley could have done it as well. Although either way I would love to do it." 

"Great. Oh, I think Ashley and Meg are looking for you." 

I nodded and walked over to there office. I guess Gus looked for me there and first. I made my way over to there office. When I got there Gavin was just leaving. Weird he was just with Geoff. Maybe he was looking for me after I left the Achievement Hunter office. I usually go there when I'm not in the office.

"Hey. Gus told me you were looking me." I said once I entered the office.

"You will be on the podcast then right?" Meg said.

"Yep." Meg pulled out her phone to text someone. I want to say its Gavin but I'm not sure. The fact that she is possibly texting my boyfriend definitely bothers me.

"Don't do your make-up Monday. Let us do that." Ashley said.

"Why? And I am not leaving the house without make-up."

"Come in early and we will do it early so you don't have to walk around without make-up. Also wear something nice." 

"Why, whats going on? Burnie told me that you guys and Gavin are keeping secrets from me. What the fuck is going on!"

"We are your best friends, just trust us. Please." Meg said. 

"Fine.. I have a lets play to go edit." 

I stormed back to the Achievement Hunter office to start editing. 

I was editing for the rest of the work day and finished it just in time. Now waiting for Gavin to finish getting his work so we can go home.

"You can go home love. This will take me a while. I'll have someone give me a ride home or just call an Uber." 

"You sure Gav?" 

"Yeah."

"Alright." 

Now home I decided I should start picking out my outfit for Monday. Today is Friday. All weekend Gavin and I have plans to play Tower Fall and I don't want him to see what I am wearing on Monday. I wonder if he remembers that Monday is our anniversary. I guess it doesn't matter if he does forget. Although I would love to have gone out dinner even if it was just Parana.

Gavin just got home, I looked out the window to see who dropped him off, it was Meg... Totally not jealous.

"Ello love." Gavin said pecking my lips.

"Where uh, where'd you go with Meg?" He walked in holding a back.

"Hm we went I needed to get something so she took me to get it." 

"Alright. Dinner is almost ready. Figured I would make something nice. Actually I need to go check on it now."

Now Monday night, its time for the podcast. I'm the dress I picked out Friday night. Meg and Ashley did do my make-up early this morning. They did a really good job. Also Gavin did forget abiut our anniversary, he really hasn't talked to me all day now that i think about it. I'll talk about it later when we get home. Right now the podcast is starting.

"WELCOME TO THE PODCAST!" I said. "Today with..."

"Ashley." 

"Gavin."

"Kayla."

"and Burnie. This is basically like the couples podcast."

"Oh so I can complain about shit you do then Burnie?" Ashley said.

"What have I gotten myself into?" Burnie said with a laugh.

Now there about five minutes left in the podcast and we need to find time to kill. I know just how to do it. 

"Ashley what do you think the worst date Burnie can forget is?" I said.

"Uhm, my birthday and our anniversary." 

"So missing an anniversary is a big no?" 

"Yeah."

"Was your anniversary yesterday and Gavin forgot?" Burnie said laughing.

"IT WASN'T YESTERDAY!" Gavin said. "Its today and I didn't forget, I was purposely waiting to say something.." 

"Alright not wanting to make a big deal of it at work far enough. Hey Ashley, why did I have to dress nice today?"

"Ask Gavin not me." Ashley said.

"Okay so I know that you have been wondering what has been going on the last week or so, might have been longer but I wanted to so something special for today. I know that you have gone to Meg, Ashley and Burnie asking what is going and they either said they couldn't tell you or Burnie just plan out said it was secret." Gavin started. "Well, they have been helping decide which I think you'd like best and playing what I should, although I am not actually following what I am supposed to say....."

"Just cut to the case Gav." 

"Alright, alright... The last three years of my life with you have been top. I want it to continue that way. I am condensing what I was suppose to say because I don't really remember I'm so nervous. Anyway what I am trying is, Kayla, I love you so much will you marry me?" Gavin said adjusting the mic, while getting on the floor and kneeling one one knee and taking out a ring.

"Yes. Yes. I love you too Gavin." I said starting to tear.

Everyone cheered, apparently everyone knew. It was quite odd but they were good at keeping the secrets and i'm glad that Burnie didn't tell me.

The wedding was exactly one year later. Both Gavin and I couldn't be happier. Gavin explained at the wedding party all the worry and everything he went through to build up to the day he proposed. It was perfect.
