When Lucy woke up she found Natsu's scarf neatly flowed beside her. Immediately  knew something was wrong. Getting dressed she put the scarf on and runs to the guild hall.

"Why are you wearing Natsu's scarf?" Gray asked.

"It was flowed neatly on my bed when I woke up. Do you know were he is? Somethings wrong, he never takes it off."

"He is with Erza out on a five year job." Happy said sadly. "Lucy, can I stay with you?"

"As long as you behave you stupid cat."

"NATSU COMES BACK TODAY!" Happy yelled, happily.

Lucy smiled happily and pulled Natsu's scarf closer to her.

The day came and went. Gray, Lucy, and Happy stayed at the guild hall all day.

"They arent coming back. Maybe they wil be back tomorrow." Gray said. "Come on, I'll take you home."

The days, weeks, months passed, they didn't come home. Two more years passed, still no sign of them. Not even the search parties could find a trace of either of them. Four years, and two months after they were suppose to come home, Gray and Lucy got together.

Five years after they were suppose to be home.

Gray leaned into kiss his girlfriend, when you all of the sudden three people walk in, a male and two females, the male says, "Hey Lucy! I knew you'd lo- Lucy?"

Both Gray and Lucy snapped there heads to see Erza and Natsu standing there. Lucy jumped on Natsu making them both on floor. Lucy was hugging him with all her strength, Natsu just layed there not bothering to hug her back.

"I missed you so much Natsu."

"Doesn't look like it to me."

"NATSU!" Happy said. "LUCY GOT OFF HIM YOUR GOING TO CRUSH HIM!"

"Shut it you stupid cat! I've lost weight in the past ten years!"

"HAPPY! I missed you buddy."

Erza laughed, "Guys, this is Lauren she is an ice dragon slayer and she is going to join the guild."

"Nice to met you Lauren. I'm Gray. The girl that is crying on Natsu is Lucy."

"What ever." Lauren said.

"She's a bit cold. We found her in the mountains wearing nearly nothing. I guess the cold froze her heart."

"Erza i told you it doesnt work like that. Use logic! If i was there or not i'd still be a cold person. Although I am sure that the fact that I am a ICE dragon slayer doesn't help."

"Not necessarily. I'm an ice make wizard. Im not that cold."

"OW! Natsu! What was that for!?" Lucy said jumping up. Natsu burned her to get her off.

"How else was I suppose to get you off of me?" Natsu said. "Can i have my scarf now?"

Throughing the scarf at him she ran out.

"What her problem?"

Sighing Gray said, "She might have been my girlfriend but she loves you." Then ran after her.

"You call me cold hearted." Lauren said.

Natsu ran after them.  When he caught up to Gray he looked at him as if to say "let me". Gray nodded.

He put is hand on her shoulder.

"Gray.. I still love him. I'm sorry." Lucy said.

Natsu didn't say anything, he just turned her around and kissed her. After realizing it was Natsu she kissed him back.

Gray, who was watching them, smiled and walked back to the guild hall.

"I love you too Lucy." Natsu said breaking the kiss. "I just wanted to get back to you as fast i can. I'm sorry i was late."

"You are here now. Everything's okay."

Five years after they were suppose to be home. Gray, Lucy, and Happy are looking at the job bored, when two people walked in, a male and a female.

"Hey Lucy! I knew you'd look good in my scarf." The male said.

Looking in the direction of the two people Lucy said, "Natsu!" Running over to him and hugging him.

Natsu laughed hugging her and spinning them so they didn't fall. His eyes flicked from her lips back to her eyes, then leaned into kiss her. Lucy didn't hesitate to kiss him back.

"He has been waiting to do that since he found out we were going home." Erza laughing a little.

"It's good to have you both back. Not the same with out either of you." 

"Never leave like that again Natsu." Lucy said breaking the kiss for air.

"I'm never going any where with out you again. I love you Lucy." 

"I love you too Natsu."
