It's one of the hottest days of the year. It's normal for the clinic to be buzzing with people.  A lot of them get strokes or pass out because they are dehydrated.  It finally slowed down towards the end of the day,  it had gotten much cooler.  As I was about to lock up shop I heard someone familiar yell for me to wait.  "Saizo what a pleasant surprise" he ran to me with a young girl. "And who is this?" The male shook his head"don't know I found her collapsed in the middle of the street,  she looks pretty young.. 10 at least." I motioned him in and he laid her out on the examining table. I quickly got to work checking her temperature,  heart rate,  pulse.. "She's incredibly hot,  Saizo bring me some water and a wet rag please" he nodded I continued to do my checkup on her. Nothing else seemed wrong with her.  I gently wrung the rag out and placed it on her forehead. I look to the nervous male "here Saizo can you tilt her head back while I give her the medicine?" He nodded slightly and held her head up while I slowly poured the medicine into her mouth. "Now we play the waiting game,  she should be alright her fever should go do-" *ack* *cough* we both turned to the small coughing child and Saizo patted and rubbed her her back softly.  Her (e/c eyes)  fluttered open and looked at us both fearfully. I smiled at her softly. "Be still young one we are here to help" Saizo continued rubbing her back and laid her back down. "Do you know your name?" She was silent for a moment "(n-name)". Saizo nodded and I as well.  "And how old are you (name)?" She started shaking a little "9." I quickly went to her side and pulled a blanket over her "little one your sick with a fever you need to rest alright?" The (h/c haired)  girl nodded and closed her eyes. Within a minute she was asleep. I turned to Saizo "I do wonder where her parents are...if she even has any.." The raven male turned to the sleeping child "if she doesn't I'll take her in" I nodded "for now let her sleep,  she'll need it"
