The Winchesters and The Maid of West Manor
*Hello! So how's it been??? Good? Good! So this particular one shot is something I literally came up with thinking of a rich Cas and like hunter Dean so yea. A witch cast a weird spell on Castiel to turn him into a girl and gave him-- sorry, gave her a whole family and mansion and stuff-- except, there's a catch, she's not the daughter of the family she was given. OMG WHAT COULD SHE BE?! Sam and Dean have been looking for Castiel for weeks so when they find a case in that area, they go to you know, investigate. But when the find out a Cassie is living in the richest house in the town, they find it odd that she looks a lot like Cas. Enjoy!*
// Dean's POV
"Come on, man! He's been missing for weeks! He hasn't called. Heck, we called and he hasn't even answered! And can you still say 'don't worry'? 'He's fine'?" Dean yelled in frustration.
"Dean, calm down. Yes it's been weeks. We haven't been able to reach him. And yes those were the last things I said. And I still stand bye it. Dean this is Cas we're talking about. Sometimes he's gone for months. How is this any different?" Sam asked from where he was sitting.
Castiel had gone on a case down in Texas. Said that people were reporting family members disappearing and leaving someone else in their room of the different gender. However they had similar characteristics. That was three and a half weeks ago. He's been gone since.
Dean paced the room angrily and rubbed his hand across his forehead, the other hand on his hip.
"I don't know man, I just have a bad feeling about this case. It's just this feeling in my gut! Come on Sammy, you gotta trust me on this." Dean pleaded.
Sam sat there his eyes wide before a smile broke out on his face and he chuckled.
"You miss him." He mumbled.
"What?"
"Nothing. Let's check the cases in Texas. Did he say which town?" Sam asked, pulling out his laptop.
"No." Dean sighed. "Just that people were missing and only their opposite gender was left."
"Hmm okay..." Sam went away to typing and scrolling through news reports.
And after about five minutes he nodded.
"Here. Corpus Christi, Texas. Police reports say that they keep receiving calls from parents, wives, husbands, the works, saying that someone in their family or even a friend is missing and has been replaced with someone of the opposite gender who acts like if nothing's wrong. Most recent one was a Mrs. Jones calling in and saying she went up to wake up her daughter but instead found a boy sleeping in her bed. At first she thought he was a boyfriend but there was still no daughter. When he woke up he greeted her saying "hello mom" and acted normally. Police came to check a few hours later only to be called of when the woman said it was a mistake calling. That she had always had a son. This was two days ago." Sam read.
Dean bit the inside of his cheek and nodded.
"Okay, let's go." Dean stated before grabbing his jacket and running up the stairs and out the door of the bunker.
"Now? Shouldn't we go tomorrow?" Sam called.
"Now Sammy."
Sam smiled to himself and followed.
+++++
"Have I ever told you, I look good in suits?" Dean smirked, straightening his tie.
Sam rolled his eyes and adjusted the suit jacket.
"Come on."
Dean smiled and followed.
The arrived at the richest town in Corpus Christi where all the reports seemed to be coming from. They were currently at Mrs. Jones' house.
The knocked on the door and waited.
A woman opened the door with a wide smile.
"Hello. How may I help you?" She was wearing a maid's outfit.
Dean smirked and looked at her up and down as Sam spoke, pulling out his badge.
"Yea hi. I'm Agent Gabriel and this is my partner, Agent Collins." Sam smiled pointing at the two.
"Hi." Dean smiled.
"We're here about Mrs. Jones' missing daughter." Sam smiled.
"Missing daughter?" She questioned.
"There was a call. Could we please see Mrs Jones?"
"Oh, sure. Come in." She smiled and opened the door widely for the boys to come in.
"Thanks."
"So uh..." Dean began, trying to find out her name.
"Missy." She smiled and walked ahead.
"Missy, cute name." Dean smirked. "So, Missy, have you noticed anything different about Mrs Jones?"
"What do you mean?"
"Oh you know, change in attitude, personality, looks?"
"No...not that I know of."
Dean looked over at Sam and shrugged.
"Missy, who are these men?" A woman asked, staring at them from a love seat in the living room.
"These are Agents Gabriel and Collins. They are here to speak with you about a missing daughter?"
Mrs Jones features scrunched up and she stared at the boys more.
"Missy, leave us alone." She stated.
"Yes, ma'am."
"Missing daughter? I don't have a missing daughter. Or a daughter for that matter." Mrs Jones said, once the maid was gone.
"Mrs Jones, we received a call that your daughter, Amber was was missing. You said you found a boy in her bedroom who claimed to be your son, Andrew?" Sam informed.
"Oh that. I was tired. It was a mistake. Besides, the police already came bye two days ago to ask questions. Why are you two here then?"
"We just needed the information ourselves." Sam insisted.
"Mrs Jones, have there been anymore situations like this one? Maybe with a different family?" Dean asked.
"No...I don't think so..." She mumbled, deep in thought. "Wait. Just this morning, news was spreading that the West family was changing. First it was the butler and then their son. They're the only family who's been babbling about two incidents of the same kinds." She laughed.
Sam narrowed his eyes and nodded.
"Do you know where we can find them?" He asked.
"Oh yes! Right down the corner, biggest house here. All pearly white. You wont miss it." She smiled.
"Thank you Mrs Jones. And thanks for your time." Dean smiled and they were on their way.
"Oh one more thing." Sam called. Mrs Jones looked at him expectantly. "You haven't seen another Marshal around her have you?"
"No...why do you ask?" She questioned.
"It's nothing. Have a nice day."
+++++
"Did you notice something off about her?" Sam asked once they were outside.
"Who? Missy? Nope. But damn she was hot. Did you see those skirts?" Dean smirked.
"Dean. I'm talking about Mrs. Jones." Sam bitchfaced.
"Oh. Well what about her?"
"Did she seem a bit, too happy for you?" Sam asked, as they stopped at the car. "Like, she was too accepting of the fact that her daughter was replaced with a son."
Dean thought for moment before nodding.
"Yea...she just seemed to go along with the whole thing."
"Okay...let's check out the West's house." Sam sighed and got into the car.
+++++
"You think they've got a hot maid?" Dean asked as they stood on the doorstep of the largest house in town. A tall three story house, all white and lined in black.
Sam rolled his eyes and pressed the doorbell, causing the sound of church bells to sound around the house.
"At least it's not some musical piece." Dean remarked.
The door opened and one of the maids opened it, her head poking out of the door.
Dean was looking around at the house when she opened it.
"Hello, how can I help you?" She asked, looking at the two boys.
Dean looked back at her and smiled.
"Yes um, we're U.S. Marshals ." Sam said.
The maid narrowed her eyes at them and looked them up and down.
"What are you doing here? Did something happen?" She asked calmly.
"We're here about a missing butler and son?"
"Butler? Son? I'm sorry, you obviously have the wrong house."
"Okay, listen sweetie, we need to speak to the owners of the house." Dean cut in.
She glared at them but opened the door anyway.
"Come in." She sighed. She had dark hair tied up in a messy bun, two stray strands of hair left on the sides of her face, her short bangs covering her forehead. Above her head was one of those maid crown things. And she was in a black and white frilly dress, a white apron falling over her short skirt. Oh and, she was in black stockings.
She waited for them to walk in, her crystal blue eyes on a pale face staring at them expectantly.
Dean stared at her for a moment, narrowing his eyes.
"Thank you." Sam smiled and walked inside, Dean following.
She walked ahead of them, one arm folded behind her and the other folded across her stomach.
"So, what do we call you?" Dean asked, curiously.
"My name is Cassie." She stated. "I don't understand how that's relevant to anything but my name is Cassie."
Dean looked over at Sam with a confused expression.
Cassie lead them into a large living room where a male and female were seated on a couch, drinking wine.
"Madam, two Marshals are here to speak with you." Cassie informed.
The man and woman turned around and faced them.
"What do they want?" The woman asked.
"They didn't specify, ma'am. Said something about a missing butler and son?"
The couple looked at them with confused expressions.
"Butler? Son? What are you talking about?" The male asked.
"Oh! Is it the whole scene I made yesterday? Oh silly me, that was a mistake-- no one's missing. We don't have a butler or son. We do have our new made, Cassie and our daughter Stacy but no missing people." The woman smiled.
"I see...well, we appreciate your time. Thank you for speaking with us." Sam smiled and began to walk away, Dean following.
Cassie followed them to the door and held it open.
"Have an nice day." She stated.
Dean watched her and smirked.
"You also have a nice day."
She narrowed her eyes and him and waited for them to be outside before closing the door.
Sam looked at Dean and scoffed.
"What?" Dean asked as they walked back to the car.
"No. Nothing-- just...don't you think she looked familiar?"
"What are you talking about?" Dean questioned, standing on the drivers side of the Impala.
"I don't know man. Just-- the dark hair and blue eyes. She just looks a lot like someone we know." Sam thought.
Dean shrugged and they both got into the Impala, driving towards the motel they were staying at.
+++++
"I'm going out. Need anything?" Dean asked Sam who was at a desk on his laptop, doing research.
"No...not really."
"Okay. See if you can find anything about the victims online."
"Okay."
Dean left and made his way to the closest convenient store.
He picked the packs of beer first and made his way through the store.
He grabbed salad for Sam because even though he said he never wanted anything, Dean always ended up buying him a salad or sandwich.
As he rounded the corner into another isle he crashed into a smaller figure.
"Excuse me." A high-pitched voice apologized. She looked up and narrowed her eyes at Dean.
"Marshal?"
"Cassie?" Dean asked looking down.
She wasn't in her frilly maid dress anymore.
Dean: :( no more frills
She was in much more casual clothing. A loose shirt and an oversized flannel as a sort of cardigan over it and a short black flowy skirt and knee high socks.
The flannel actually looked like something Dean would wear.
And oh my frick her hair was loose. It was wavy and went a bit past her shoulders.
"What are you doing here?" Dean asked.
"What's it look like?" She asked lifting up a basket she was holding, full of fruits and things to make burgers with.
"Is that for the West family?"
"Oh yea, a rich family who is super healthy would eat greasy burgers. They're for me, assbutt." She sassed.
"You really like burgers?" Dean laughed.
"They make me very happy." She stated, with the most serious face ever that made Dean laugh more.
"Right. Okay well anyways, I was just paying." Dean smiled.
"Me too."
They both walked up to the register and Dean let Cassie go first.
As the cashier ad scanning things, Dean was kinda looking at an empty rack with a sign that read 'DELICIOUS PIE'.
"Man I wish there was still pie." He mumbled.
"You like pie?" Cassie asked.
"It makes me very happy." Dean mimicked her from before.
Cassie nodded before turning back to the cashier.
"Do you have pie?" She said, pointing at the rack.
"No...we're out." The cashier sighed.
Cassie grabbed the man's collar and pulled him towards her so he was leaning against the counter.
"You don't understand. He needs pie." She hissed.
"Whoa! Whoa Cas calm down! Let the poor guy go!" Dean said grabbing her shoulder.
"I don't understand. You wished for pie." She narrowed her eyes and tilted her head to the side.
Dean stared at her. That gesture was familiar. Something only Cas would do.
"I-It's fine, Cassie. Just pay for your things and I'll pay my things and we'll be on our way."
Cassie hesitated but paid for her things, grabbed her bags and walked out of the store.
"Sorry about her." Dean sighed as the cashier scanned his things.
"She's feisty. Girlfriend?" He asked.
"What mine? No! No...I just met her today actually so no." Dean laughed.
The cashier nodded and let Dean pay and he was on his way.
Dean looked around and saw Cassie wandering down the street in a different direction from the manor.
"Cassie? Cassie!" Dean called, running after her.
"What do you want?" She asked.
"Come on! My car's a bit back there. Let me take you home." Dean suggested.
"No thanks."
"Hey, come on. Those bags seem heavy. And it'll be faster."
She stopped walking and turned around.
"No. My car's just around the corner." She insisted.
"Yea right. Around the corner's just a bunch of road. Come on." Dean smiled.
She rolled her eyes and followed him.
They reached the Impala and Cassie stood there for a bit, staring at the car.
"You coming?" Dean asked, opening the passenger door for her.
She snapped out of her thoughts and climbed in, placing her bags in her lap.
"You can place those in the back seat." Dean said, taking her bags and putting them with his behind them.
"Thank you." She smiled as Dean got into the car and started the engine.
"So where do you live?" Dean asked as he pulled out of the gas station.
"Um...I live in the Purgatory Apartments down Sweets Drive." She mumbled.
"Purgatory?" Dean asked in shock. What kind of town was this?!
"Yes Purgatory."
"Okay then..."
+++++
Dean pulled up to the said apartments and stopped the car.
"You need help with your bags?" Dean asked.
"No thank you. You've done enough Marshal. Thank you for bringing me here." Cassie smiled and stepped out of the car.
She opened the back seat doors and pulled out her bags, walking into the lobby.
Dean watched her leave and drove back to the motel he was staying at.
+++++
"Bought you a salad!" Dean called as he stepped inside.
"You always buy me a salad."
"Right. And I got us some more booze." Dean smirked and walked jumped into his bed.
Sam stood up and looked through the bags.
"So what'd you find out?" Dean asked.
"Not much. I found their social media profiles and Mrs Jones seems to always had a son." Sam sighed.
"Hmm...so what do you think we're dealing with?" Dean asked.
"Well I don't know man, it might just be some crazy 911 pranks." Sam said. "Hey, where's the salad?"
Dean looked at him.
"In the bags."
"There's nothing but apples, peaches, bread and a bunch of burger meat."
Dean sat up and ran to Sam, looking through the bags.
"Ah shit. She has my bags."
"What? Who?"
"Cassie."
Sam rolled his eyes and walked back to his desk.
"Well, you should go back to that-- even though it was probably an excuse to get laid." He laughed.
"Oh come on man! I don't bang every girl I meet! Especially if she looks like...whatever, I'm gonna go return these to her." Dean mumbled and left, grocery bags in hand.
+++++
"You sure you didn't switch them while I wasn't looking so you could just come back?" Cassis asked.
"What? No! If anything, you just took the wrong ones so I could come back." Dean retorted.
"Riggght."
And at that exact moment, something just washed over him. It might have just been the sarcastic and sassy moment they were sharing that pumped him up. Or it was just the lust and longing for touch.
Whatever it was, it made Dean place his hands on either side of Cassie's jaw and pulled her to him.
Dean's lips were immediately on hers.
Cassie whimpered and pushed him away.
Dean pulled away and looked at her, his hands still on the sides of her face.
There was silence between them. Staring silence. Cassie was beyond shocked. Her eyes wide.
"Sorry I-- " Dean began to apologize but Cassie shut him up with her lips against his.
Dean pushed her against a wall, his lips never leaving hers.
Dean began pulling off the flannel when she mumbled something against his lips.
"I don't even know your name. And I've only just met you...this is so wrong..."
"Would it be too cliché to say 'I don't wanna be right?'"
Cassie laughed and shook her head.
Dean chuckled and looked at her, kissing the top of her head.
"Dean." He laughed.
"Dean? Nice name." She smiled.
"And we'll probably be here for a few days so...you'll get to know me." Dean smiled.
"Well that seems pleasant."
"Should we...continue or are we gonna read each others diaries?"
Cassie scrunched her brow and shook her head.
"I don't own a diary so I think we should continue."
The kiss they shared after that was soft. Not rough like the first ones.
The rest of the night went slow and sensual.
Dean didn't do anything that Cassie didn't want to do.
That was something he normally did but he just felt like he needed to be slow. Like this was special. As if he had known Cassie for years but it was their first time and it had to be special.
+++++
Light slipped into his eyes as he slowly opened them.
Once everything came to view he heard his phone ringing.
Dean sat up but was slowly pulled down because Cassie had somehow managed to wrap her arms around his waist.
Dean smiled and stretched out towards the bed side, reaching out towards his phone.
The caller ID said it was Sam. Dean answered it and whispered into the phone.
"Sammy? What is it?"
"Dean? Where the heck are you? You left to return groceries and haven't come back! I've got a lead on the case, man."
"What really? So you know what we're dealing with?"
"I can take a guess...just...get back here okay?"
"Yeah yeah alright."
Dean hung up and looked down at the sleeping person next to him.
"Cassie...Cassie come on...wake up..."
Cassie groaned and buried her head further into her pillow, covering it with her whole face with a blanket.
Dean laughed and uncovered her so he could see her head and ran his fingers through her messy hair.
Cassie hummed in her sleep.
Dean smiled and sat up, pulling away from her hair.
And to that gesture, Cassie's reaction was to grab his hand again and placed it on her head.
Dean ran his fingers through her hair for a few more minutes before he heard her slow, even breaths filling the space they shared.
Dean slowly got out of bed, getting dressed and headed for the door.
Part of him told him to stay and at least make her breakfast or something.
But as he stood there, debating on the topic, Cassie was watching him.
"Dean?" She asked.
He looked back at her and smiled, going for the door.
"Where are you going? Can't you stay a bit longer?" She asked in a whisper, her blue eyes glistening with hope.
"Cassie. Come on. I've gotta go."
Cassie lifted her head up and slowly sat up.
"I don't understand. Why must you leave?" She asked, yawning.
"My partner. He found something for the case. He needs me over there. Look I'm sorry, I really am. I owe you breakfast next time." Dean smiled and he was gone.
Cassie sat there, wide eyes, covered by a thin blanket.
"I'm such an idiot." She mumbled before grabbing looking for extra clothes.
She laid them out on the bed and went to take a shower.
After about an hour she walked out, towel wrapped around her body.
"Oh god please put some clothes on." She heard.
Cassie quickly turned around and saw a man around her height looking at the walls.
"Who the heck are you?! Get out of my apartment!"
Cassie reached for the drawer at the bedside and pulled out a small sword-like weapon.
"Get out."
"Relax Cassie! I'm just hear to give you some info your missing." He smiled. "But not with you naked. Trust me, I don't want to see my brother's parts-- well in this case, sister's parts."
The man snapped his fingers and Cassie was fully clothed, hair dry and everything. It was now pinned up in a half pony tail.
Her clothes consisted of a white button up shirt with a blazer over it, a short black skirt and her usual black stockings with small black boots. And she was wearing a trench coat over it all, the weapon still in hand.
"What the hell?! How did you do that?" She gasped, looking down at the clothes.
"Let's just say I'm awesome." He said, a random lollipop now in his mouth. "Now let's put that angel blade somewhere safe huh?" He asked before snapping his fingers and the weapon was in his hand.
"Please...just get out!" She pleaded.
"I will! But first..." he trailed off and walked up to her, snapping his fingers again.
Cassie screamed out in pain, grasping her head.
She fell to her knees and screamed.
"Crap. No don't cry! Shit. Okay gotta do this faster." He touched her head and the screaming stopped.
Cassie pulled her hands away from her head and looked at them. She looked at her long fingers and nails before looking up at the man.
"Gabriel?" She whispered, standing up.
"Heya sis!" He smiled widely.
"Gabriel?!"
"Uh...yeah."
Cassie glared at him before punching him square in the jaw.
"You freaking assbutt! I thought you were dead!" She yelled before pulling him into a hug.
"Well that was a roller coaster." Gabe mumbled, rubbing his jaw.
Cassie pulled away and smiled at him.
"H-how have you been?! Where have you been?!"
"Hiding. Didn't want Team Free Will finding me so soon, huh? I just kinda worked and made Pepsi commercials for a while before I got bored. I messed around with this town, switching people's genders-- which is awesome by the way-- anyways, then you showed up and I didn't want the fun to be over so I switched you and wiped the memory. Then those Winchesters showed up and you and Dean freaking have sex! And well I'm bored of this so yeah I'll probably just change everything back, or not, and get the hell out of here." Gabriel jazz handed.
"Oh my god. I had sex with Dean." Cassie gasped in horror.
"Is that all you got from that whole paragraph the readers had to read?"
"He needs to know it was me! No. He can't know...he'll freak out and never speak to me again!"
Gabriel rolled his eyes and began to eat a chocolate bar-- he had finished that lollipop five minutes ago.
"But you have to see him." Gabe mumbled.
"But I need to see him!" Cassie yelled.
"It's wrong to keep it from him." Gabe mumbled.
"It's wrong to keep it from him!" Cassie yelled.
"I mean sure he once lied and deceived both Dean and Sam." Gabe mumbled.
"I mean sure I once lied and deceived both Dean and Sam." Cas thought. "But he has to know!"
"Gabriel I'm going!" Gabe mumbled.
"Gabriel! I'm going!" Cas yelled.
Gabriel rolled his eyes and groaned loudly.
"Really? I would have never guessed!" He sassed. "Okay, you've got your mojo, fly to their hotel and spill." He said tossing her the blade.
Cassie nodded and in a puff of wings she was gone, but not before Gabriel snapped his fingers and a small pair of black wings appeared on her back.
"Lucky butt brother...had sex with the freaking y=-(sin(x^(1.7/6)+4)+(1/x))+10 ! I want an ass to bang." Gabe pouted. "If only I could find Sam in the damn closet! But noooo, he camouflages with all the fucking plaid in there!"
+++++
"I fucking had sex with CAS?!" Dean squeaked.
"Uh yeah Dean. You did. You can check that off your bucket list." Sam bitch faced.
"O-okay but you said this was a trickster right? So we don't know if it was actually him? Right?!"
Sam sighed and ran his hand through his hair.
"I don't know man, she matches Cas! The physical appearance, the name...the sophistication!"
Dean groaned loudly and banged his head against the wall when someone knocked.
"Ugh what now?! Can't you see I'm trying to grasp the fact that I fucked my best friend?!" Dean yelled, walking to the door and opening it.
"Hello, Dean." Cassie walked inside.
"C-Cas?!"
"It's Gabriel." She said walking up to Sam.
"Gabriel?! No, I thought he was dead!" Sam gasped.
"Apparently not. He caused all this. Erased my memory so I would think I was the maid." Cassie sighed.
Dean was somewhere spinning around crying.
"Wait, but if he wiped your memory, how do you know you're...you? That you're Cas?" Sam asked.
"He was in my apartment. He gave me back my memories...although I'm not sure when he'll give me my body back." She sighed.
"OKAY HOLD UP THIS IS GETTING BORING!" Gabriel yelled, pausing and intruding your reading.
"How about we skip forward and like, wipe their memories of this scene and make them think they solved the whole case. Cassie is back to being a maid!" Gabriel smirked and snapped his fingers.
~• W E I R D S H I T H A P P E N E D •~
"So, it's over?" Cassie asked the two brothers.
"Yeah. Should be. Everyone's been put back to normal." Dean smiled.
"I still can't believe there were that many shape shifters in one place." Sam sighed.
"Yeah...we'll have to look into that." Dean smiled, still looking at Cassie.
"Yeah okay, come on, he have to look for Cas." Sam called as he walked towards the Impala.
"Five minutes." Dean yelled back.
"I totally saved your ass back there." Cassie smirked.
"Yeah thanks for that. You know, for a maid, you're really good at this sorta thing."
"Well, I have my perks." She smiled. "So...I guess I wont be seeing you around anymore?"
Dean sighed and looked away.
"Depends. I might stop by." He shrugged.
Cassie smiled and grabbed his collar, grabbing his attention.
"You're so full of shit." She smiled and placed her lips against his, softly, standing on her toes to reach better.
"And...here's the moment I've been waiting for." Gabriel smirked and snapped his fingers.
When Dean and Cassie pulled away from each other, Dean was in utter shock, almost died, you know.
"C-Cas?!" He shrieked.
"Dean?! Why am I kissing you?!" Cas gasped.
Gabriel laughed loudly, catching everyone's attention.
"I HAVE FOOLED ALL YOU DICKS! It was me the whole time you morons." Gabe smirked, snapping his fingers so their memories of before were back.
"Still doesn't explain why I was kissing you." Cas said.
"Oh fuck it!" Dean yelled. "NO TIME LIKE NOW DEAN! CASTIEL I FUCKING LOVE YOU DAMMIT!" He yelled before crashing his lips to Cas' again.
Gabriel strolled over to Sam who was by the Impala, jaw dropped down so low it could probably reach Adam.
"Yeah, maybe I'm forcing him to tell the truth." Gabe shrugged.
"You were dead!" Sam gasped.
"Good to see you too, kiddo." He scoffed. "Anyways, I was wondering if you'd like to get out of here? Ya know, catch up? Maybe some action-- "
"Um no."
"Action movies?" Gabriel finished.
Sam glared at him.
"I'm taking that as a yes." Gabriel smiled. "HEY DEAN-O! IM TAKING MY OWN WINCHESTER! TAKE CARE OF MY BRO!" He yelled before snapping his fingers and they were gone.
Dean pulled away from Cas and stared at him.
"Oh." Was all Cas could say.
"How 'bout I treat you to that breakfast I owe you, hmm?" Dean suggested.
"That...sound pleasant Dean." Cas smiled.
Dean smiled widely and kissed him once more before running them to the Impala and driving them to Cas' apartment for some Dean-made breakfast.
"Your groceries are still at my apartment."
Sam and Gabriel later did sideways limbo.
