Personality:

Asami is a very reserved individual that doesn't easily trust. She suffers from generalized anxiety disorder, causing her to get overwhelmed by stress and certain over stimulation with senses. This with her with her tough relationship with her father,  she comes off as a quiet and not all out there person. She is however a sweet girl at times, often misunderstood by her closed off personality and delinquent appearance. Because of how people portray her for those reasons, she tends to be more reserved and snappy as a coping mechanism for her anxiety. She tends to be more in her element when she's with her mother or in the dance studio. She used to find herself in Volleyball before an accident resulting in her breaking her arm, and she never went back out of fear. When she's in a school environment she is calm, quiet, and polite. Normally keeping to herself. When she's working as the boys' volleyball club's manager, she's a bit more out there, normally giving them a mouth full if they strike a nerve. The only time that she is truly smiling and laughing, genuinely having a great time is when she's dancing.

Backstory:

When Asami was still a second year in middle school, her mother and father were having complications with their marriage. Her father had picked up a nasty gambling addiction and it resulted in their divorce. Since the divorce, Asami had moved in with her mother closer to the Nekoma school district in Tokyo. Since starting High school, her mother moved on and opened a dance studio with her girlfriend from Ireland. During the second year of High school, Asami's father started trying to make amends with his ex wife and daughter. It was working for a while till he fell back into bad habits when Asami would stay with him. Instead of saying anything to her mother about her father not getting better, she kept it to herself to not worry her mother. That is where he lack of trust comes from however. 

Health problems:

Asami Kitahara suffers from PTSD from an accident during her time as a Volleyball player for Nekoma's Girls' Volleyball club as a first year. The accident resulted in a broken arm and ended her career. She refused to play after that out of fear of it happening again. But after some counseling, physical therapy, and other help she had picked up her love back after managing the Boys' Volleyball club.

Asami also suffers from generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). This was something that seemed to manifest along with her trust issues after the complications with her father arose. Her anxiety causes her to distance herself from people to avoid any sort of interactions that could trigger her anxiety attacks. This often causes her to put up a tough act to make people stay away. Her disorder also causes her to go into full anxiety attack mode when her senses get overwhelmed. For example, being overly stressed (or any sort high levels of emotion), sudden loud noises, a sudden sense of claustrophobia (Lack of personal space or feeling of the walls closing in on her), or too much going on around her for her to concentrate. This disorder often causes to worry to over almost everything with little to no reason for it.

Asami is a well built female on the skinny side. She has an athletic body from her years as a volleyball player and dancer.
She posses naturally wavy soft jet black hair that stops about mid back in length.
She has an array of piercings, including a tongue, standard lobe, upper lobe, rook, helix, and orbital. The orbital and helix are only on her left ear.
