🌹backstory🌹
When Seth's father committed suicide when he was four, his entire life started falling apart. His mother being the main thing.
She began to drink and do drugs, using anything she could find to curb her pain. Which meant she ended up neglecting her duties as a parent, and putting Seth in harms way.
It wasn't until Seth turned eight that things started getting really bad. They had lost their house when his mother focused more on drugs than her work, and they were now living in one of her friend's trailer type homes. Everything was always dirty, and Seth had to walk with caution to make sure he wasn't stepping on any needles or broken bottles. He hadn't been happy for a while now, but he was making due with what he had. It was easier than complaining about it all.
But that was until his mother came home, high as a kite, too drunk to stand straight, and upset. And needless to say, Seth was touched in places that shouldn't have been.

That went on until he turned thirteen, when a neighboring family called the cops, and Seth got taken into child services. Then he was in and out of foster homes, running away and doing whatever he could to never get stuck in another family.
Until he met Nikolai.
He had ran away once again, and was just... Walking through the streets when he found a kid covered in bruises, wearing nothing but a pair of boxer shorts, and crying.
It was then Seth made his very first friend.

From then on Niko and Seth were inseparable. They went to the same foster homes, they broke all the rules. Where one was, the other was bound to be close behind. Which is why they spent so much time in and out of homes: no one wanted one f*cked up 13 year old, much less two.
Niko and Seth weren't exactly happy, they were still hurting, but they were getting over things. They were best friends, trying to heal without seeming like they were.
Until Cameron came along.
Niko and Seth had been wrestling in their social workers house when they brought in another boy: a tall, lanky 14 year old. He had reminded Seth of a baby horse, timid and shy, but energetic and happy once it opened up. And that was exactly how Cameron was, he was terrified of every adult, until Seth and Niko came into his life, then he was happy.
And Cameron's happiness brought happiness into Niko and Seth, which means needless to say, they were all inseparable after that.

🌹Loving: Niko has probably the largest heart underneath that tattooed body. He cares way too dämn much about people who usually don't care all, which leads to him being hurt. But that doesn't stop him from trying to care for others. In his mind, if people can't care for him, then he should care for them. Spread the love, y'know?
🌹Goofy: This is a side of him not many people get to see, but he's honestly really goofy. He has the quirky, weird kinda humor, but the guys love him for it, so he guesses it's okay. He would rather be goofy in a weird way then goofy in a mean way

Nikolai's real parents never wanted kids, which means that all the problems they had, they ended up taking it out on the kids. Niko being the main one. Ever since he was only enough to walk, he doesn't remember a time where he wasn't hit for even the smallest of things. It used to tear him apart on the inside, it used to make him want to end it all, until his parents had another kid when he was six. It was then that Nikolai realized there were more important things in this world than just himself. So he dedicated himself to raising his brother. To keeping him safe and away from his parent's fists.
And it had worked. Niko took all the hits, and raised his brother, and kept out of his parents way. But he didn't do a very good job at hiding what he was going through from the people at school, because one day, when he was thirteen and taking care of his seven year old brother and infant sister when the police came to his home, putting his mother and father in handcuffs.
Niko had tried to keep his siblings with him, because he knew they were scared and they were all he knew, but other officers pried the kids from his grasp and forced them into different cars.
Niko has never seen them since.

Needless to say, since then Nikolai was a mess. All he wanted was his younger siblings and when they were denied from him, he went off the rails. He ran away from the home they brought him to, wanting to go to his siblings, but along the way, mostly naked and scared, he got lost. So he did the only reasonable thing a thirteen year old could do. He sat, and cried.
And that was how Seth found him: alone, and crying like a baby. He took Niko under his wing, and they stuck together from then on.

As a child, Cameron grew up very hyper and energetic. Everyone believed he had ADHD, and that simply would not do for his "picture perfect" family. His mother was a business woman, with her very own company and it made her extremely strict. His father was the mayor, who had camera men and politicians following him everywhere, which means means that everything around him needs to be perfect.
A hyper, childish, problematic Cameron is not the definition of perfect. Which means they tried to "fix" him.

They withheld his food. They locked him in his room. They ignored him. They did anything you could think of that didn't involve them physically hurting him.
And they got away with it until Cameron was fourteen, when someone finally noticed they had a secret child, who weighed less than eighty pounds and was so terrified that he refused to leave the house.
Both his parents were put in prison for neglecting their child, and Cameron was taken into child protective services. At first he was quiet and withdrawn, refusing to speak to anyone in fear of being ridiculed and punished for the way he acted.
Until he met Nikolai and Seth.

Cameron had been sitting by himself in the social workers house, watching a boxing movie, when the two boys were dragged into the room. They were dirty and struggling the whole way, but both of them were grinning, satisfied with whatever they had been doing.
Cameron had curled into himself on the couch, trying not the be seen, but the second the adult left, Niko and Seth were spinning around to stare at Cameron.
They had shared a look, as if they didn't know what to do with him, before Niko shrugged, sat next to Cameron on the couch and hugged him.

And that was the first time Cameron had been touched since he was a boy.
They were best friends since.
