A little Aegeus launched himself onto his mother who was sitting on the couch, "Mamma...~!' He said as he tackle hugged her. His mother winced a little but still smiled and laughed and hugged him back, "Hello sweetie..did you need something?" She asked.
Aegeus shook his head and grinned and continued to hug his mother, "Nope~! I just wanna be with you mamma!"
His mother, Ivy, smiled and coughed rather harshly and just smiled, "And to you my dear Aegeus, I'll promise you that I'll always be with you too.."

Liar.

7 years old

Aegeus laid on his bed in his room and looked up the ceiling. He's learned so many things. He's lost so many things. So many people.
His mother Ivy had past away when he was 3...or was it 4? He didn't remember anymore...he was still torn up about it. But he didn't let it show, he remained to pull off his façade. His happy face. Though the only time when he's genuinely happy is when he's with his Father. The only family member that he had. The only family member that he loved and was loved in retern.
Aegeus had learned about his cousin. Iris was her name. Her parents, more her mother, sheltered her and no one knew why. Is it because she was blind? That's what everyone thinks at least. The black haired boy loved thinking about Iris. He dreamed on meeting her one day. For real. And not in a dream.

Iris is the only girl that he likes.

11 years old

Aegeus never really got why he didn't like girls. He liked them. But not like-like them ya know? He always preferred hanging out with boys. Hell, he might even think he's in love with one of his closest friends. Maybe...he just doesn't know yet. But he would never tell him since he's not for sure.
Other than that, Raiden, Aegeus's father, told him stories of when he was young and how he met his mother.
Aegeus loved hearing about how his father met his mother. But it seems everytime he talks about it they both cry. But they couldn't help it. They both loved Ivy very much.

Too bad her illness got the best of her.

13 years old

By now, Aegeus knew he didn't love girls. He actually told his friend that he loved him romantically. Unfortunately, his friend turned him down and called him a freak...Eh oh well. One less person to worry about. Rude but, it's true.

The only people he needed to worry about were Raiden and Iris.

16 years old

Aegeus grinned as he watched TV. He's become very happy lately. Maybe it's because he came out to his father finally and Raiden just said that he'd love him no matter what. So that's good. Now he's just focused on meeting Iris, by now she had to he like....13? Eh he didn't know. Suddenly he heard a knock at the door,
"I'll get it~!" Aegeus exclaimed to his dad to know he was going to check the knock at the door.
Raiden just nodded.
The tall male walked up to the door and opened it, "Hello..~?" He asked.
Another boy was in front of him and just handed him a note, "Here.." and with that he was gone.
Aegeus puffed out his cheeks, he didn't even get to know his name, boo. He shrugged and looked down at the note and walked over to his father, "Hey~! We got this letter! ...hm? Oh its addressed to me..?"
Raiden smiled and nodded, already knowing what it is, "Go on and read it.."
Aegeus was pretty confused but shrugged and read the letter.
The note said that he was accepted into going into the Reserve Course for Hopes Peak Academy. The boy cocked his head to the side, "Hm~? What's the Reserve Course?"
Raiden explained that it's a new School that's close to Hopes Peak Academy but it's a school for more of the lesser talented people. Aegeus didn't care that it basically ment that he was less talented, he was just glad to be at least close to Hopes Peak.

Time to start his new High School Life

18 years old

Aegeus just graduated high school. He lived with his father for a while until after a while Aegeus wanted to live by himself. He felt really bad for leaving Raiden by himself but, he knew he would be fine.

His mother was with him.

20 years old

Aegeus sat in his dark apartment and sighed, wiping his tears. Apparently there was a killing game taking place. And it so happened to be broadcasted, so Aegeus thought he should watch it. He shouldn't have. He wished that he never watched it. He felt so bad that the people that were in it had to deal with it. And the outcome in the end. Iris was apart of the killing game. And unfortunately she died. And he watched, he wished he could be there, stop this from happening, protect her. But he couldn't.

And now her smiling face as she died wouldn't leave his mind.
