3 years old

Atsuko laid down on the floor in her room as she blankly looked up at the ceiling. Her parents wouldn't stop yelling at each other. She thought it was pretty annoying.

But she also thought they shouldn't fight.

7 years old

Atsuko walked up to her mother who was on the couch in the living room,
"Mommy?"
Her mother looked at her and nodded, "Y-yes sweetie..?" Her mother couldn't help but stutter, she can't help it.
"Do you want me to go get food? Groceries?" Little Atsuko asked, her long bangs practically covering her eyes.
Her mother quickly shook her head, "N-no no..! S-sweetie, I'll go tomarrow s-so don't you worry..!"
Atsuko nodded, "M'kay.." and with that she was off back to her room. Her parents were divorced. She lived with her mother. She didn't mind it. She loved her mom. All she wants is for her to be happy.

Little did she know that her mother was now suffering major depression and drank it all away.

11 years old

Atsuko was off buying groceries, her mother didn't tell her to, she never does. She just likes going out and taking care of her mother. By know she knew that they didn't have much money, they didn't have much of anything. She couldn't get a job and neither could her mother.

Everything she does is for her mom. That's all she wants is for her to be happy.

13 years old

"Hey...mom..?" Atsuko came to ask her mother something. At this point her mother didn't hide that she drank anymore. Haku, her mother, was a very touchy-feely-sad drunk, so Atsuko liked being there for her mom if she started to cry.
Haku looked up at her daughter, she had just got the drink in her hand and hadn't drank any of it yet, and her eyes widened at her daughters appearance, "U-um...yes hun..?"
The now short haired girl noticed her mom's reaction and started to blush out of embarrement and looked at the ground, "So...um..." she had to think for a while. How was she supposed to tell her mother that she preferred wearing boys clothing!? She finally found her courage and took a deep breath, "The other day when I was shopping I kinda...bought boy clothes instead of girl ones..."
Haku nodded and continued to listen to her daughter and as she listened she smiled and then got up from the couch and hugged her, "S-sweetie...I love you anyway you are...I know your still a girl and y-you still think so too...y-you just like wearing boy clothes.." she continued to smile and leaned her head on her daughters shoulder, "Just know that I'll always love you...no matter how you are.."

Finally, Atsuko had a happy family.

16 years old

The short haired girl walked around a small restaurant taking various orders from all these people. She sat the note down to another worker for them to make the food and sighed. Atsuko was diffrent know, definitely physically and only slightly personality wise. She wore boys clothing, hell even for the fun of it she even binded her chest (not that there was much there in the first place, eh were not doing into detail on how her chest is-) for the fun of it. Her co-workers actually thought she was a boy. Speaking of co-workers...
Bickering was hear to her right and of course she looked over at what was happening. Two of her co-workers were fighting over something. Since now that Atsuko was way more brave than she was she walked over there and put her hand on both of their shoulders, she didn't say anything until they stopped talking. The two looked over at Atsuko and let her talk.
"You two...what a awful desplay your making of yourselves and the restaurant...you two will be the reason that this place will be in even more shambles than it already is..." she whisper yelled as she glared at them. After that they stopped and went their separate ways. Little did Atsuko know that a rather old man was at the table they were arguing at and heard everything. He stood up to leave but before he did he walked over to Atsuko and put a hand on her shoulder and she spun around to look at him, confused.

He smiled, "I think I have a better job in store for you."

17 years old

Atsuko got what she wanted. She had a very well paying job. A nice house for her and her mother. Everything was great. Then after all her success she got a letter in the mail from Hopes Peak Academy. They wanted her in the school since she was so well known now. Of course she accepted, this would just mean even more success for her and her mother.

Now once again she will do everything for her mother. But now as the SHSL Idol Manager.
