Personality: Allistair is dark, brooding, and a little harsh. He's not one you'd want for a friend because he's not the friendliest of sorts. As the years progress (and as he befriends Hermione), he gets a little friendlier, but not fully, because he's still pretending to be a Death Eater. He only shows his gentle side to Hermione, though sometimes they still squabble and argue with each other. He also doesn't speak of his home life to anyone, and chooses to wear long sleeves for the first few days of every year.

Backstory: Allistair was born to Xavier and Morgana Youngblood, two of Voldemort's supporters. They weren't very good parents, choosing to hurt him and treat him poorly. He grew up not knowing what love was, and choosing his 'friends' based on who their parents were. He knew it was best to keep his mouth shut about everything his parents did, and when he went to Hogwarts, he rarely left the side of Draco and the rest. But he did come to the defense of Hermione when Draco called her a mudblood. He ends up befriending her in secret, though they "squabble like an old, married couple" (Ron and Harry's words). He didn't like conforming to the Death Eater way of things, and when they made Dumbledore's Army, he joined into it. At the time of the war, he made his side known, and fought the bad guys, meeting his downfall by the killing curse that was shot at him by his own father.
