When you hear my voice what do you hear?
When you look at our text what do you see?
Most people say "A very happy girl with a lot of friends! I'm sure nothing ever goes wrong in your life!"
Well behind my smile I hide a terrible secret.
I have problems too
I have issues too
Just because I smile doesn't mean I don't experience pain
Just because I laugh doesn't mean I don't cry
Just because I'm happy all the time doesn't mean I'm dying on the inside
I build my walls because I don't want anyone to get hurt
I hide the pain because when I do break I'm all alone
My friends irl don't care
They just listen and walk away like nothing ever happened
So if I maybe hide it a little longer then what?
Would they care or not?
Probably not...
