Freddy Mercury could have been bisexual or gay. There is some public debate on this, but he definitely wasn't straight.

David Bowie came out as both gay and bi, but I think he decided to stick with bi

Sam Smith: in 2014 they came out as gay, and then in 2017 came out as non-binary.
