The final battle is officially underway,the long awaited battle between the demon slayers and the top rank demons,in one final attempt to finally beat the king of all demons,the person who caused so much misery in pain for thousand of years,Theodore.

After gaining a victory against the fifth and forth upper moons,the pillars in the infinity castle were ready to cut down any demon in their way to make sure they get to Theodore who was currently weakened by Tamayo's demon-changing medicine and from the previous attack.

Walking along the corridor,the Insect Pillar,Adachi Lily slowly and cautiously made her way down,picking up the scent of blood as she did so. To her left,she saw flowers like lotuses and lilies drifting on the still waters.

Turning to her right,there was a grand sliding door made out of gold,realising that the scent of blood was emitting from behind it,she quickly grabbed the handle and slowly slid the door open,peering into what was in the room.

The sight was none the less disgusting and sorrowful to look at. The bodies of dead females covered in blood laid on wooden planks which stood among the low levelled water where more flowers from outside continued to float on the surface.

However,there was one tall figure among the bodies that was sitting upright. The sound of crunching was evidently heard. The sound than stopped and everything went silent after the figure realised that someone had discovered him.

Turning around,the tall figure of a male demon happily smiled that somebody discovered and was standing outside of his room,holding a decapitated hand which had two chucks missing while his mouth had blood dripping all over.

"Ohh? Somebody's here?"He enquired,his body not fully turned yet. Once he fully turned,he gave out a expression displaying his shock,"Whoa,it's a girl!"clearly excited.The sadistic grin on his face grew wider at the sight of the young eighteen year old girl.

"She looks so fine and delicious. I'll have to thank Nakime-Chan later."

A vein quickly appeared at the corner of Lily's forehead,after realising just who the demon in front of her was. Her eyebrows furrowed into a frown at the crude sight that behold her.Her anger slowly rising from the pits of her heart at the sight of the one demon she absolutely despise with all her humanity.

A pair of voices softly called out to her,voices that the pillar loved to the extreme. The painful memories emerging from the depths of her mind as she recalled that faithful morning four years ago.

Tears were continuously streaming down her face that day,the fourteen year old then did not want to believe that the scene playing in front of was simply true. Lily could not help but feel tears dripping on her cheeks as she held the hands of her "nee-san" and "onii-san"

"Lily,leave the demon hunters. I know you're working hard,and you really really are,but maybe you're better off..." Shoji softly muttered,her breathing becoming slower as her left hand was squeezed by her lover's hand,making her stop what she was saying before the dying male beside her continued.

"Lily,I just want you to obtain happiness like any normal girl would and live until you turn really old. That's.... enough for me...." Hiroto added on,choking on his final words to his "Imouto".

Upon hearing that,the fourteen year old flew into a rage,anger emerging from the hatred she felt towards the demon who caused the two people she loved to end up in this state where saving was beyond them.

Not accepting their final request,she demanded to get answers.

"No! I won't ever quit! And I will avenge the both of you for sure! Tell me! What was this demon who beat the two of you just now...!"

Gripping onto their hands tighter,hot tears continued.

"Just tell me,Shoji nee-san,Hiroto onii-san,please!! I can't live a normal life after someone did this to you!!"

They simply kept quiet as they eyes shut,crying for the fact they were just outside of death's door and that Lily was insistent on revenge.

"Nee-san,Onii-san!!"

Atlas,the two could only grant her that last wish.

Fast forward four years later and Lily has now finally came face to face with that demon.

"It was a demon with blood stains on the top of his head." They spoke.

"Why hello there,very nice to meet you. My name is Joshua. It's a very nice night out tonight isn't it?" The demon politely greeted,removing his hat to reveal a blood stains at the top of his head.

Lily continued having a serious look on her face as she continued to recall the description of the demon who took them away.

"He always gives a carefree smile and he speaks in a calm gentle manner."

A female on the wooden plank extended a hand towards the pillar, crying for help while trembling in fear from what she could have witness before.

Hearing what she was saying,Joshua placed a finger to his mouth and politely shushed her,telling her that he was talking to Lily now. Suddenly,circular slashes of ice appeared around him and the female on the plank.

However,when the ice cleared away,he saw the female not yet dead but in the arms of the insect pillar who was bending down on as she landed on another wooden plank across the demon. "Are you okay?"Lily asked the distraught female who just escaped from near death,from out of concern.

"Whoa! You sure are fast. Are you a pillar?" Joshua happily asked,impressed by the slayer's speed.

But just when Lily thought the female was saved,blood suddenly poured out as slashes appeared on her body. Her body dropping out of Lily's arms and turning into a pile of human parts. A shock expression on her face as she tool in the realisation that the demon's attacks were too quick for her to even see.

"Ah,don't worry about her! Just leave her over there. I'll make sure to gobble her up later."He continued,standing up"There we go."

"The weapons this demon uses are a pair of sharp fans"

"My duty is to make all my worshippers,including myself,happy. So I'll eat her up without leaving a single speck." The demon concluded,closing one of the fans he held with a swift motion of his arm.

"So this...is the demon who killed my brother and sister."

Turning around,the Insect Pillar confronted the demon in front of her. "Make everyone happy? Don't be insane. This girl was screaming for help just now."Lily stated with a matter of a fact.

"So that's why I saved her."Joshua replied,seeing no problem with what he just did.

"She's not feeling anymore pain,nor is she suffering. There's nothing to be afraid of. You know,everyone's afraid of dying and that's why I eat them all up. Now they get to live together with me forever."

"All the feelings of my worshippers. Blood,flesh. I made sure to accept,rescue and guide them to enlightenment." He continued,talking as if what he was saying and doing was for a greater good.

That just triggered the pillar more.

"There's no way you're sane. Are you right in the head? You're actually making me vomit here."Lily angrily replied,disgusted by the sort of nonsense the demon was spouting,not addressing him by his name as she clearly had no respect for him whatsoever. The aura given out around her only had hostility.

"Eeeeehh. How come your being so harsh even though we only met just now?" He enquired.

"Oh,I know. How sad,if there's anything bothering you...I'll make sure to listen. So come on,speak up."He added on,showing pity towards the demon slayer while mocking her at the exact same time.

Lily,just had about enough and completely snapped."Anything bothering me? You're the one who killed my brother and sister,right?" More veins popping out as her grip on her haori tightened as she attempted to keep her sanity in check and make sure not to fly out in rage. "Don't you recognise this haori?!"

"Hm?"Joshua thought before taking a closer look at the haori and realised that it was a combination of the two haoris worn by the two pillars he fought and recently killed. "Ahh! You mean the flower breath girl and water breath boy from before?"

"She was such a sweet and cute girl. I missed out on eating her because that boy got in my way and the sun was coming up. I remember them."

"But I really wanted to eat her all..."

"Up"

When that one word left his mouth,his left eye had a wound as Lily quickly appeared in front of him,burning with rage and thirsty for revenge. Her thrusting speed was that quick that even the second upper moon could not raise his hand to block in time.

"Breath of insect,dance of the bee sting,mere fluttering!" She yelled,dashing towards her target at an incredible speed and uses the momentum of her speed to strengthen her single thrust into her opponent's left eye and injected lethal poison into him.

"That was one nice stab,I couldn't stop it with my hand." He complimented even if her sword was impaled through his head. Retaliating,he drew out his pair of fans and used his blood demon technique,lotus ice against her.

That technique created various ice lotuses to both attack and ensnare the pillar who easily did a back flip to avoid the attack before she could be dealt major damage.

At the same time,Lily also felt the sheer coldness of his attack and noted that it was cold enough to rip someone's lungs to shreds.

"Hmmm..you really are fast."

"But it's just too bad. You can't just kill demons with just stabbing. It's the neck. You really gotta go for the neck."He commented,licking and consuming the blood leaking from the wound at on his left eye.

"Well,I may not be able to kill you with stabbing. But what about with poison?"Lily questioned,returning her sword into her sheath as it make a clack sound.

After saying that,the poison immediately took effect,parts around his eye and neck were slowly turning purple as it continued spreading through his blood stream as he dropped to his knees.

"I don't know if this poison will work on an upper moon,but I'll know for sure now."

"Onii-San,Nee-san"

"Please...onii-san,nee-san!"

She thought and repeated in her mind.

Joshua stayed on the ground for a short period of and continued talking about how Lily was using a stronger dose of poison compared to when she fought against the elder spider demon. And that the mixture can adapt to every mixture. That was what that 'man' told them.

He coughed and choked for one last time before letting his hand down after fully decomposing the poison,neutralising the effects at the same time.

"Ohhh. It seems I was able to decompose your poison. Sorry about that."

"And I knew you worked so hard to use it. Your blade,makes a very unique sound when you put it back in the sheath. Is that when you change your poison mix?" He curiously asked,pointing at her sword which was at the side of her waist.

"Ohh maan,this is so much fun!! Getting repeatedly attacked with poison is totally interesting! I might actually like it. Hey,do you think your next mix will work on me? Give it a shot."

"...Alright,that's fine by me. Well,I half expected this to happen,personally" Lily replied,taking out her sword and swinging it in a full circular motion twice before letting it rest in front of her.
